  • ooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • これは凄い映像だ!

  • Johnny Herbert>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Michael Schumacher

  • its amazing how he walds away from a huge crash/fireball while dale had a seemingly light crash and it killed him. just shows the cruel randomness in motorsport

  • HOLY SHIT!

And he walked (read *RAN) away! That's incredible.

  • ooohhh shit

  • ジョニーハーバートは漢だ。

  • Why would I die when hitting a pole or a wall at 50 km/h?

The technology is there at least for 20 years now obviously.

  • @rcF1racer Try it with head first contact

  • @bravo3000pirate

    Die mag je even uitleggen.

  • @binnieb20 yeah that was a decoy, of course he lived they showed him get out of the car!

  • the driver is now a FREEJACK

  • @azeleapark

I had to look up what it was and I read the plot of the movie because I have very little to do at the moment. I now know what a freejack is.

    Thumbs up for this comment.

  • @binnieb20 idiot r u freaking blind

  • Scariest crash I've ever seen so far. Driver is indeed lucky to be alive. This shows if engineered properly, cars can be made for passenger survival with a high probability of success.

  • That was a big tire failure.

  • fast guy :D

  • Effin amazing car construction

  • travelling at high speeds and still is able to scratch his eyes while holding the wheel with one hand. AMAZING!

  • The best driver ever, quikly the dude is sitting asking a beer in the sandy! Luckily!

  • lucky guy!

  • I'm surprised the camera is still functioning after that crash.

  • did he die?

  • @binnieb20 No, clearly not since he gets out of the car and runs away!

  • @binnieb20 - Are you blind?

  • @binnieb20 Yes, his soul is running out the car.

  • What's with Fuji and the epic crashes?

  • what was the reason for this....a bursting tire???

  • ジョニーいい奴だな

  • I think it's a very beautiful image because even though they are rivals on the track to fund themselves they remain friends

  • Sounds like one of the commentators says 'damn' in Japanese @ 0:42.

  • Amazing he was coherent after that wild ride, good to see he made it out alright.

  • he is so lucky that the doors were ripped off. I don`t think he could open them if they were still on

  • someone give up the trophy, but come in to help his fellow driver!!this is great hero!

  • fuking hell. racing was very dangerous before all the major safety regulations, it still is very dangerous but not compared to this!

  • At 32 seconds there is a bump. Did he blow a tire?

  • Little known fact - the driver you see running with him after he escapes is Johnny Herbert, in one of his first races back after shattering his ankles 3 years earlier at Brands Hatch (you can find that on Youtube too). You can see his car parked on the left. Herbert was in tremendous pain and couldn't walk under his own power in the months after his accident yet was the only driver to stop and run (run for the first time in 3 years) across the track to help.

  • @fearbeforefearbefore , thank you for the I.D. of Johnny Herbert, a courageous man. The sad part of racing is that people can die in the pursuit of speed and victory, but flying in the face of winning at all costs are those drivers who would not forsake others in their hour of need, men like Mike Hailwood, David Purley, Shinichi Yamaji and the 4 drivers who refused to let Niki Lauda die a fiery death. All heroes, not because they succeed but because they act while others do nothing...

  • @fearbeforefearbefore thank you for that info, looking at it again you can really see how hard it is for him to run. Good to know he does a steward job nowadays (sometimes)

  • Amazing to see another drive stop, and help him get out of the car. Even though he managed himself

  • スピンする前にガタ!っと車体が揺れてるようにも、、、ストレートだもんね、、、バースト??

  • Jesus man that's amazing, btw the crash starts from 0:30

  • The driver sprinted out of that inferno!

    Good!

  • いったい、何が起こったんでしょうか?

  • This was 1993

  • i understand u are suppose to fly down the trck but damn it not seriously fly like that dude he should of pumped it just a tadd bit

  • How the F*ck did he walk away from that.

  • Nice 300ZX

  • Comment removed

  • Allegedly, this was literally the first time Johnny Herbert was able to physically run since he broke his legs at Brands Hatch in 1988. Top bloke.

  • blown tire

  • it was his error he pressed the brakes right before he spun look at his legs at 0.31 sec

  • He was problably relaxing his legs for a second. Why win the world would he press his brakes on the straight...?

    Seriously, people sometimes...

  • because he was nearing the end of the straight...

  • it is very common in race cars (those with vey low vaccum idle) to after a long period of accerlation (ie a striaght) to pump the brake pedal once or twice, not hard and still with full accerlator on. 2 reasons ususally. 1: being to give the pedal some feel as in cars like this is can go sloppy and 2: if its sloppy you know to get out of the gaspedal and brake sooner or in some cases, prepare for impact. Its usally done as a mixture of both.

  • whats with the vibration right before the car goes nuts??? Blown tire??... or was he hit??

  • Rofl, he puts on his shades.

  • gotta love the fire suit

  • Jesus christ, he was lucky!

  • lucky man phiuf...!

  • lol the camera is amazing

  • Johnny Herbert stops his car and goes to help him.

  • @ukks63 That's True Sportsmanship.

  • wow, that was fucking nuts!

  • how good is the camera work. all the action shots..

  • WOW, when these things crash, THEY REALLY CRASH!

  • Coolest moment to put your shades on in my opinion...

B.t.w. Williamson had the bad luck to be stuck in an aluminium chassis which probably pinched him stuck in his car....that and the worst marshalls in the history of racing...

    May he rest in peace.

  • Holy ....! At that part of Fuji he would have been flat in top gear, top end. Looks like a tyre blew. Lucky man! Composed enough to remember about his image, don the shades, all in a days work, no big deal.

  • Wait...is it me having hallucinations at 1:14 or Wada puts on some sunglasses after that big crash?!?!

  • Those are his normal glasses I think. :)

  • lol hes gotta look cool for the drama

  • スピン=死に直結の時代

    今のレースがいかに安全か思い知らされる

  • Wow; this is one of the most amazing videos I've ever seen. It was so scary watching the in-car video in real time showing him struggling to escape from the flames. Glad he made it out okay.

  • it's amazing how he could get out on his own so quickly

  • what about Lauda? WIlliamson? Bandini??? did they get out this quickly??? I don't think so..

this guy was upside down in a car like that, Amazing how he could release himself so quickly...

  • When you are prepared to crash and if you dont get a heavy impact on your head. You knows what to do when you must to do.That´s why he got out of his car so fast. "No heavy impact on your body and you need to prepare yourself for the crash"When blow the tire he know he will crash ,but not about the fire , when he undersand that his car was in fire , the first come first..And the first thing on that situation was put out of there. But you need the chance to think what to do.

  • Wow you're so smart. Can I have your autograph?

  • Williamson was trapped

    Lauda was knocked out

Bandini I think was K.O.I (killed on impact)

most of your car's from the early 90's on had some kind of quick release device.

  • none of them were knocked out

  • oh ok.... my mistake

However Williamson was trapped in his car.

  • yes... really awful death

  • Unfortunately Bandini wasn't killed instantly, there are several reports of spectators who heard him screaming while the marshalls were just unable to do anything :/

  • wow, that's the worst way to die in auto racing.

  • @spinsanity ,bandini survived for 3 days after the crash, hope that clears it up

  • @fran812 you would get out of the car fast if you were on fire as well

  • @fran812 - hot hot hot...lol

  • That's Johnny Herbert running towards the car after the crash

  • first time he ever ran since his Brands Hatch accident in '88

  • so lucky~

  • Track is too fast, should add some corners here and there like on Le Mans.

  • They did.

  • what car was he in

  • Nissan, probly blew the left front tire and as soon as the car was going backward the spoiler lifted it of the ground.

  • lucky guy

  • Is there a replay of this crash not from inside the car? Amazing the guy came out ok.

  • wish they would bring these cars back cause they were awesome but very unsafe and unstable

  • Que lechuo!

  • こんな大事故起こしておいてメット脱いだら

    わざわざツッパリサングラスしてカッコつけてるところが渋い!

  • Jeez! As soon as you see the sky in front of you like that, you start praying to your god!

  • so many brutal crashs at this course

  • This track is cursed I tell you, CURSED!!

  • Thank god he got out!

  • y el copiloto or co drive?

  • there is none, only one driver

  • copiloto en el circuit race...

  • adrenaline....

  • nice video

  • that was some violent crash.

  • upside down, car on fire...

he has huge balls.. he could get out immediately by himself, it's even more amazing than the crash..

  • That's Johnny Herbert running towards him to help.

  • wow ^^
