Try getting your tires hot in 2wd, then run. My truck is almost 3 tenths of a second faster out of 4x4. Less moving parts gets the power to the ground in the top end faster. you may be slower in your 60 foot but in the top end it will make up for it.
I highly recommend it! I am still thrilled with the truck on a daily basis and it still amazes friends who ride along. And the TRD reflash they released a few months ago really made a difference.

We have 1 guy running 12.7 12.8s with 3 modifications (thats pushing 5800lbs with thee 2500 frame. "4 Door truck". The best Stock RegCab time has been 12.9. The Automatic gives many advantages. Best stock QC time was 13.6. The V10 is extremely detuned when stock.
I would think a Viper truck would be faster than high-12s. That's really not that good for a Viper truck with a Viper engine is it? You just hear "Viper" and you think "fast" - not 12.8 - that's a fat pig right there. Fat Viper Pig Truck is what you should call it. Not impressed. The Tundra is not trying to be something it isn't - it's just good at everything and even better with the s/c. It's probably very frustrating for non-Tundra owners.
Frame strength? Are you talking about the Ford propaganda videos where they put the Tundra going over just the right size bumps at just the right speed to get the bed to shake? Guess what - the Ford (or any truck) will do the same thing at a different frequency. The open channel frame was intentional to allow a little flex - F-250s have the same thing and it's very strong. And looks - I'd bet just about every Tundra owner out there know's he's got the toughest looking truck on the market!

And secondly i know exactly what test you're talking about, and every truck was tested going 25 mph on it (I think it was 25). I do give FX4Matt credit, he does have a nice truck, but its tricked out and tuned. However a Tundra all stock+supercharger has can do 0-60 in 4.4 seconds without mods or tuning. You can google it if you want. I think Motor Trend did it.

I didn't talk to the guy or look at his car up close, but it had Cobra body panels on it. I did have the truck out in Southern CA a couple of weeks ago right at sea level, and it was noticeably quicker. Would love to see what it can do in the 1/4 at SL.
yea, im pretty sure that was an eaton supercharger i heard from the stang, so it prolly was a cobra. but anyways. if you ran a 13.9 at 3000 ft, then you should most def. be running 13.3's-13.5's with ease at sea level

Also, I didn't have a helmet with me and this was my second sub-14 run, so they wouldn't let me run again without a helmet. Though I sort of appreciate your 9 sec 1/8 mile run stock, trust me when I say you don't come close to what it can do with the blower. The truck was still new to me and I'm at 3000 ft. Dragtimes calc says 13.35 sea level corretion.

Boy, I don't know about that, unless you've pulled the stock motor and put something with a lot of power in it's place. I've raced plenty of modded Titans at the track and have wasted all of them - no contest. BTW - 13.90 is not my best time, just my first time. I'd really have to see a video of your truck under the same conditions (altitude and temp) to believe you. I respect the Titan, but it just is nowhere near as fast as a Tundra, let alone a blown Tundra.

That's great, dude. But guess what: there will always be someone faster than you. Pound for pound, mod for mod, the Tundra is faster than the Titan - it's been proven enough - get over it. Just because you put an intake, headers, exhaust, tuning and juice to your Titan and then beat a stock Tundra doesn't mean Titans are faster than Tundras. This is a ridiculous argument, anyway.

that was a handful of tundras when they first came out! less then 50 tundras came bcak with that issue. They have been out for almots 3 years now and with that being the only issue. Toyota stood behind everyone to either give them their money bcak or give them a new truck! Titan has had every problem in the book, motor, diff, interior falling apart, and electrical issues that won't let them start. I know there alot of recalls on all vehicles but the titan tops them all besides the f150 brakes!

Your wishes are unreasonable for a nearly 6000 lb truck and "only" 504 hp with 4.30 gears and stock 32" tires. And 13.3 (the sea level corrected time) is considered a low 13.
Keep in mind I'm at 3000' elevation (mentioned in the info section up top) and with density altitude corrections for that night, it comes out to about a 13.3 at sea level. So there ya go. I also could have done a better job driving, so there is more to come.
i wasnt trying to be an ass just expected a little more from the sc according to the gps i am only between 50 and 100 ft above sea level that may be why.

Titans aren't so lucky. I've seen too many titans at 60-70k mi for 8-10k.... 04-05's... Tundras with the same new price are worth 15k or so....
