Colex- the syndicated partnership between Columbia Pictures Television and Lexington Broadcast Services in the '80s and early '90s- distributed several "classic" Screen Gems/Columbia series to local stations on a "barter basis" {they got the shows free, in exchange for Colex selling national advertising during two of the six commercial minutes within each half-hour}. When black and white shows were seen, the Colex logo was presented in monochrome as well...

These B&W versions of usually-colour logos done for syndication copies of B&W shows...are oddly charming in a way.
