  • Fantastic Job training this lovely animal. 2 thumbs up to the both of you!

Your methods seem very kind and respectful and I can see how the horse is constantly paying complete attention to you. Many people do not achieve this level of connection with a horse in there lifetime, Very well done.

  • @bailyandme Thank you, but I can't take any credit for this as I'm not Honza, I just made the video ;-) I do completely agree with you however. He's a great inspiration for me and I hope to one day be as good a horseman as he is.

  • I love the way this horse is arching neck and no nasty bit is necessary to achieve this collection.

  • Love to see the cooperation and the love they share for eachother.

  • i love how this horse only wants to please his "alpha" it shows how loyal and trusting horses can be

  • mooi! ook een mooi paard van welk ras?

  • AMAZING! ♥

  • The next Moorlands Totilas me thinks!

  • I used to ride natural style as a child, I always hated the bit.

I hate to see competitive maniacs dominating with heavy hands.

Viva "New Age" (or is it ancient) Horsemanship.

  • Fantastic horse! The man doesn't look completely comfortable keeping balance without saddle but the moves he can make the horse do are really great.

  • wow that's amazing :)

  • soo cool!!

  • omg what breed of horse it that? he's beautiful!!!! awesome horsemanship, too

  • I'm surprised of the negativity on here. I'm sure those who react with a 'poor horse' chase their own horses over fences it doesn't want to jump but hey, it's such a great sport. Or they're riding dressage because it looks so good. This horse is trained well and with loads of respect.

  • Well he sure has a great relationship to his horses, but his seat ARE horrible...

  • jealous?

  • um excuse me? do you know nothing about cues? he's bouncing to cue the horse to trot

  • @happinessanjoy he is bouncing because that the kind of trot he wants ; a bouncing trot

  • IT'S GREAT!! you say the horse doesn't want to do this but do you know a horse that WANTS to be every week on another place? i don't think so! sure, the horses are poor because that isn't natural, but Honza Blaha respects his horse and the horse respects him. they are in a friendship... don't say anything if you can't do it better! i think Blaha's work is wonderful! :D

  • @Smile6556

the same thing can be done with tack.

Just see how he is bouncing on the horse back! It's not consistent, not enough power... sad, just sad.

  • you're sad yourself. He's not riing it constantly. Just showing what the possibilities are. It's sad people give comments on this like this. They're just jealous they don't have a relationship with their horse like this.

  • bouncing=cue to trot

    get it now?

  • His seat is horable! He keeps bouncing in the poor thing

  • I really think you are right! the horse it's tale, horrible! that is not how it should be!

  • I watched YOUR videoclips. And you're saying other people aren't doing it right? Excuse me? The kids on the ponies you filmed are pulling the reins, fool around with them and treat them like bicycles. And you dare to say something about another person?

  • Again, people, wake up! This is not a happy horse! His tail is swishing, meaning he doesn't like doing what he's doing. His ears are back instead of relaxed and forward. This is an example of a man exerting his will over an animal, making it do what he wants.

  • and you think a horse would do this without reins or a saddle if he wouldn't trust its owner? And there are many days I don't want to do things but I still have to. Like working in an office from 9 tot 5. This horse is treated well, it looks great and has been trained with respect. That's more than many people get.

  • wow amazing!!!

  • Oh, what a beauty. . . And the horse is beautiful, foo

  • woow, that's amazing

  • i just love honza blaha!! <3<3<3<3

  • Love the way he connects with his horse, defenitly 5 stars to honza blaha :D

  • absolutely Amazing!!!

  • wow dat is super knap

  • wow!!!

  • That is amazing. :)

  • wooooooow what a beautiful horse

  • holy dang. he has got a big neck. impressive riding.

  • omg, this is AMAZING !!

  • wow you are amazing....wanna teach my horse!

  • OMG!!!! how did he do that???

  • That's a beautyfull horse!

  • Incredible!!!

  • that neck is huge!!!!

  • je l'aime !!!! XD

  • marry me honza!

  • WOW!!!!!!!!

  • WOW! I wish i could do that. They schould have contests for this

  • this is how it should be <3~!! although he does use two wips...

  • Laura - trust me, they are only signaling devices, not ever to strike the horse. Force, fear or pain have no place in this "New Age Horsemanship" these guys have brought to us, bless them. I adore them all. They are my heroes. :-)

  • NH dag arnhem :)

  • Jep :-)

  • thats the way it should look:)

  • OMG!!!! I *looooooove Honza and Gaston!

Thanks so much for posting this. 5*s :-)

  • id never even try that on my horse coz i gt a 4 yr old tb mare that i am re-training from racing to do bsja! lol! i wudnt dare..yet!

  • really nice!

  • man i wish me n my horse had a relationship like that...i can't even ride bareback on her yet!

  • cant bareback on her yet? is it you balance or you horse??? I have broke, and always back for the first time bareback.. if you would like some tips feel free to get ahold of me

  • i seemed to have balance problem, i've since bought myself a bareback pad no stirrups. pony happier, i'm happier balance improved overnight. it was a confidence issue not a balance one. your'll get there in the end.

  • I ride my horse bareback anytime anywhere any speed. So much more free movement for the horse and just a awesome way to ride. You really learn a good seat riding bareback

  • Why couldn't everybody do like he do? I love it!

  • Hes swiswing his tail coz hes listening so hard and trying to get his feet together for the movements. Trust he, ive seen some cruelty but this is far from cruel, its the opposite!. Pull your head in you dickhead delimidilli!!!

  • gillybabe...I have known Honza and Gaston for almost 4 years...Gaston swishes his tail like that when he is doing anything, grazing with his buddies, playing with Honza, being ridden bb or with a saddle...he is a russian mustang cross....

  • I love that. I want to try out natural horsemanship sometime, though i'm always at a loss about what i'm actually going to do with my hands.

  • the same as when you hold reins. nothing. they sould be just a still and quiet.

  • i love natural horsemanship, and the trust ect is great, but a horse does not honestly like a bareback rider! a happy horse does not swish its tail like that!

  • they would rather have bareback than a saddle now wouldnt they?

  • in my oppinion, this style is more logical than classic methods, there is no force on horse's natural behaviours like bits etc.you see how the horse's neck elasticly bends? i really like it...

  • :D arr thats amazin!!

  • cant get enough!!

  • sooo awsome

  • SO COOL! I love it
