I've been to Kembatta to see Boge's work and found an extraordinary place. For years, I've worked as a reporter and writer documenting human rights violations. Entering the town, watching children shouting her name, going down muddy banks to the stream where girls still fetch water, i felt for the first time that I had seen the BIRTH of human rights. And it wasn't just about girls. There were the elders, staffs in hand, both Amhara and Fuga (outcasts) ending ancient prejudice under her roof.
