I have had my little ION330 for over a year now and it has been totally reliable. I replaced XP32 with Windows 7 (32bit) about 10 months ago and it works with windows 7 well. I see the latest 330's now have USB inputs etc on the front panel which is a welcome addition. The latest Vision 3D Series on their website looks tempting but I'll persist with this first addition model till I feel I really need to upgrade. Thank you Asrock for producing such a fantastic energy efficient 'cute' little pc

the 330 dual core atom isn't bad, but I'll go for the 5xx series dual core in the zbox with an Ion2 and have better performance. however this was a great start for the atom/ion bundle and the ion being 512mb is pretty good for an integrated chip. wish it was the new default system integrated graphics chip instead of the geforce 6150 LE/SE

asrock may u can help me. i got a 330ion since september. i like the system but i got 1problem. if turn the power down completly (no standby) and i put it back in the socket it doesnt boot any more. i have to start it several times over and over again until i get the asrock boot picture and it boots. may u can help because it really annoys me.

I bought one of these ION 330's 3 months ago and it is fantastic, it has worked perfectly without fault. I have noticed ASRock have updated their website to include the latest Windows 7 drivers so I might try W7 in the next few days to see how good it is but I am happy using XP32 on my 330 at the moment. In the last 10 years this is the best PC I have bought because not only does it work seamlessly but it has used hardly any power being under 40watts..even when clocked...

i unfortunately do not use this as a HTPC, more as a cheap low-end gaming and multimedia pc :). as i'm using a 19" pc monitor, it is not full HD. I also know very little about video- but there is an hdmi and vga out, as well as a hdmi to dvi adaptor.

heating issues i can comment on. I have the system permantly overclocked by 100mhz (RISK TAKER!) and it never gets hot at all. About the same temperature if you touch your monitor's screen- i've never had any issues with stability

with this. but, in short- this is a guestimation:

WoW will run fine

WC3 will run fine

It'll struggle with TF2. Maybe 30fps+ if all low settings and low res

CoD should be fine. CoD 4 will be playable too on good settings, as the engine used is very good.

Unsure on Sims 3.

Starcraft 1 will be fine. Starcraft 2 (is it out!?) will be a bit tougher. But i guess the engine used in that will be very scaleable because of the pro gaming community for it.

i mainly play quake series games or similar (UT). I haven't tried ut3 out. I get solid 125 fps in q3 but on all low settings and 640*480 resolution.

The gpu should handle any game from 2007 or earlier with relative ease (ie mid settings and resolution, should get stable 30 -60fps). It does however depend on whether or not the game you intend to play will utilised both cores of the n330 processor. Alot of quake 3 engine games for example have an (CONT.)
