Strange, just watched Life 2.0 and afterwards browsing second life vids on youtube I randomly find this. Very very strange.

Tried this "game" (chat with 3d graphics) for a week or two, kept running into 40yr old white trash that wanted to cyber, or share web cam as they were smoking pot. Not impressed by it.

@tulapi123 hahahahha It is HARD to find true, honest, chill normal people in sl sometimes! But, sl CAN be a great thing once you find people who are not creepers, weirdos, and sladdicts hahaha I make real life money off sl I make more then I ever did as a FULL TIME registered nurse so it has it's advantages just have to give it time and find what you enjoy or are good at in the game/world whatever ppl call it these days lol :D

I started playing second life some weeks ago and dont see how people can get addicted to it when 80% of all the places I went to were either empty or people speaking in some foreign language

I have a new PC and still second life lags, I even talk to people on second life that has a new 8 GB ram PC and still second life lags for them

@akumie2 The only way to make money is to get a job and since second life is based on real time it means you actually need to be on the game alot to keep a job, no such thing in second life as speed up the time button or that 1 second life hour is 5 min real time

No here its all based on real time

Without a job you are screwed since you cant rob people, start fights, kill people and the like

They say its a second life yet you cant do all that and no police, no army, no coarthouses to join

@akumie2 Sure I hear people can make real money but overall its not that good to make people addicted unless I guess if they have a lot of in game sex but even then, meh

I will play the game more and try it, maybe find a job and see but for now I just go around, see places and try to annoy people just to get some fun

My first life might not be the best but doesnt mean I will make some fake second life

Heck, I had more fun dancing at clubs with friends then anything I ever did in second life

well i play SL... n although i log in everyday.. im not addicted. I know when to switch off and make sure i spend time with my RL first... then when he plays his games i play SL... i also make sure i put everything in my RL first, n my social life in RL is still awesome... its just common sense... im not going to make a virtual game my life, especially when im only in my 20s

Thats why its Called "Second Life" Most peoples Get addicted and leaves their "First Life" (The Real Life One LOL) To Continue their SECOND LIFE LMFAO! I've seen Many Peoples with Real Families In real Life & when they Joined Secondlife, They dump their REAL LIFE Family for their SECONDLIFE Virtual Family xD, I Dont think I Wanna download Secondlife i might get addicted & Make it Real Life LOL XD Like how i got addicted to There.com & I Tried to Use Paintguns In Real Life cause of There.com xDD!

Lol, this is like suicide ganking in EVE xD I remember when some dude activated a smartbomb in the main trade station....almost everything in range was destroyed and CONCORD had to launch so many ships to destroy one dreadnaught that it lagged so much.

I hate to say it, but people like you are the reason SL has a bad name. Most of us are sane enough to use it properly. Stop blaming it on the game, and start taking responsibility for your own psychological problems. I have three friends playing second life, one of them left his kids and wife cause he fell in love with an avatar, the other two have become so addicted to it its all they think about, i dont think they realize that they waste their acctual life in second life.

EVE's an awesome game. Second Life just blows the big one. The one thing I don't like about EVE is that it takes SOOOOOO LOOOOONG to get any progress made. It's more of a long-term game.
