You shouldn't play SRV on the bridge pickup, put it on the neck or out of phase between neck and middle. Otherwise, very nicely done.

You know anyone I have ever seen play anything By SRV gets these stupid comments about how they are not stevie or they are a stevie wanna be etc. The guy is playing his version and making it his own. Perfectly legitimate in the Blues world. SRV did it too. This is a some great guitar work in its own right period.

Occasionally someone comes up with something Totally new and original but that's the fuel for new innovation. If you eliminated all The remakes and covers including SRV's there would be very little Blues to listen to... :-)

There will never be another SRV but this guy is (quoting ray20512) "very pleasing to the ear." It has been said time and time again, you can sound like SRV but for only about 3 seconds and then you lost it. This guy is good but not close to SRV. Nice try though
