And don't fool yourself for a minute, genetics only go so far in this world, after all you're having to deal with people on a regular every day basis and not petri dishes or lab machines. If people perceive you as one race and you're actually another... there's nothing you can do about it and your lab results won't change one thing other than perhaps give you some surprising possibilities with your offspring.

I'm speaking from a social perspective and peace4eva you are speaking from a genetic perspective. Socially it doesn't matter how European, Asian, Latin you are, if you LOOK "black" you will be perceived as black and treated accordingly no matter what your genetics analysis is.

it doesn't matter about how you look that determines whether you belong to a certain race. it's what is in your genes that determines who you are. e.g ther are half black and white biracials who look more black than white and there are half black and whaite biracials who look more white. but either way they are still known to be mixed race. e'g mariah carey is mixed race but she looks more white. she still refers to herslf as mixed race.

I think it is great that you are proud of your heritage. We all relate to the culture we were raised in, but all of us, regardless of our background, belong to the Human Race, not some white, black, yellow or red race. We all descend from Adam and Eve. This makes us all related.
