  • not a big fan of hip hop or rap, but this was actually pretty good

  • When the real Djs Drop the 1200s you can say they are real djs ! Vinal and keep it alive..Sometimes the digital seems like if they cant afford the real 12s ..

  • Im embracing the future, I just dont like the way Cd player scratches sound. Kind of generic

Similar to the difference between Bareback and with Rubbers

  • Im embracing the future, I just dont like the way Cd player scratches sound

The difference between Bareback and with Rubbers

  • does anybody know where i can get lessons to get like that guy, i got some s5000 about a month ago, and its a long prosess, i know my hip hop, just need to be show a few scrathing tricks? please help!

  • @samcharman100 practice bro. There's nothing anyone can do or say that will make you better. Sure you can get pointers from pro DJ's, that won't make you be able to do it. You have to practice over and over and over. You're going to screw up a lot along the way but its ok. The idea is to keep doing it and sooner or later you're going to start picking up patterns that work and sound good. Practice those patterns until you perfect them. And record your stuff 2, helps to hear what ur doing wrong

  • @samcharman100 Yes....watch loads of youtube vids and practice...simple.....mixing and scratching isnt handed to you on a plate.....

  • PMS Company? Thats a funny name.

  • big up... smashed it!!!!... ripping it apart!!!

  • Nice juggles man.., diggin you style

  • i dont know why people hate on serato...maybe bc they cant afford it with a mac haha there r a lot of wack mixes on youtube with people using serato. that means while it makes it easier for u, u still need to use some skill. plus who really still wants to carry crates of records or bags of cds to a club or a party?

  • nice

  • Good stuff, my best friend just bought Serato. Can't wait to try it out.

  • sick ass mixer

  • Not to sure what that is???

  • Hi there just wonderin ho you hooked the dn s5000 s up to the laptop? thanks.

  • @Skunkstaxx ITS CONNECTED WITH A SL1

  • ok ...............

  • Can s.o tell me the name of the song at 2:01 plz ?

  • @tuniturntablist Clipse - Grindin instrumental

  • @djwreckdown Thanks a lot :)

  • @tuniturntablist its kool

  • Thats some crazy ass fadin

  • is it better then the 3500's?

  • Yep, People that are hatin on new technology, Which actually has been out for what like 5 years now. Just tryin to be mad cause they dont know how to spin it on cd players through the computer. Well if they are so freakin great let em try to keep up with the records. You cant get alot of music on vinyl. Can not and that is factoidal sonny.

  • Whats the first song bro ??? good job by the way

  • @MercOhra east flatbush project - tried by 12 or naughty by nature - OPP depending which your referring to!

  • @djdooban the one that starts at 40 seconds.

  • @MercOhra yeah man its naughty by nature - hip hop hooray not OPP like i said at first!

  • @djdooban thank's a heap champ!!!! this song is amazing haha :)

  • you got a play list bro

  • the key to progression is be open to new technologyes without abandon the old school. i have both technichs 1200 and denon dn-s 3700 with serato. there are things i can do on technichs and other i can do with my cd players. Anyway wathever gear you have not transform you in a good or bad dj.

  • as it is called the first

  • Nice bro! @ 1:38 was tight!

  • is this DJ SHY from LMP da #1 Video DJ !!!???

  • not kissing buttt that was cool....

  • where you get that DJ Jesus poster ?

  • thats 4 ur support

  • jou suck

  • Comment removed

  • can you hook up serato scratch with denon.

  • @miguelitosexy07 surely this video explains that....

  • Yo I ve been djing for a little while and I really need to practice a lot more to get as good as you.

  • hi i am new to dj'ing and have 2 denon dns 1200 and a denon mixer is there a way to rig all of that to a computer software ?

  • serato

  • panita que marca son esos platos y el intermedio????....

  • son marca Denon

  • nice mann u soo good

  • i have one Denon dn-s5000 and one dn-s3000, would you say serato scratch is worth buying to use with cd decks?

does it actually make it that much easier, and is it worth the money?

  • very nice sir.... f- the haters

  • that's the cdj's i want to get, but there really expensive!

  • is it possible to use three Technics with serato?

  • i heard that you can with the sl3....i might be wrong tho

  • For those with the negative comments and refuse to let goe vinyl. The listner only cares about what sound journey you can take them on. I've been playing since the 80's and to didn't want to let go of the my vinyl, but why play hard when you can play smart. Please when posting your comments show positivity not your AGE.

  • @dcilk01 not quite true.....people like sound quality to, otherwise the Valve System wouldnt of been such a deal also CD rips the shit out of your ear in a nightclub and the people in the know will spot if your playing vinyl or digital.....as regards to the format you play in general.......who give's a fuck at the end of day what format you choose its still music..........even I play digital along side with my vinyl......embrace

  • what are the titles of songs?

  • how u calibrate yo cdjs on serato?

  • do that on vinyl

  • what song is in the intro b4 he starts scratchin

  • Vinyl will soon be extinct... Who needs them when you can do this with that!

  • cuz thats just the way it is,

its all about the history, and culture nah mean. something the new generation would not understand. its about spinning that 12 inch pressed piece of beauty that makes hip hop what it is.

a REAL dj ALWAYS uses vinyl, a cdj is wack, on the streets, in the hood, feel me

yea vinyl will be extinct once this generation turns 60 and doesn't care anymore

and cdj become $50. then hip hop will be rotten 9 feet under decomposed and dirt and worm poo. and lady gaga will be cool

  • haha preach son!!

  • stop hatin on virtual DJ gear son.. Any real DJ knows PROGRESSION is the KEY to elevating hiphop and KEEPING IT ALIVE.Sure vinyl was the father of hiphop and the 1200 was its mother.Theres shit you can do on Serato you CANT do on vinyl.. You can make custom tracks to use just like custom pressed LP's as well.. Plus, Its so much easier to carry to a gig than 10 crates of LP's.. I am 100% old school ( check my page ) but even I know that if you do not evolve you die.. The same goes for the DJ..

  • im lovin real vinyl man

its just i cant carry crates to my gigs

to much shit, i rather just put 300,000 songs on my hard drive

saves time thast why i use serato with vinyl :D

  • @Mackaveli420 please name me one thing that you can do on those weak cd players that you cant do on 1200's.real dj's do it with 1200's.jazzy jeff is the #1 dj in the world and guess what he still use.technics 1200's.you can keep the cd players.i challenge any dj on here with there weak cd players and i'll use turntables.

  • @mrcrews Ur gonna hate the future.

  • @mrcrews I can name at least three things that I can do on those weak cd players: 1.- Play from CD and to scratch with that, 2.- play from USB sources and to scratch with that, and 3.- play from the computer and to scratch with that

  • @Mackaveli420 now that timecoded vinyl is out, the majority of djs are actually turning back to vinyl tables.

  • @Mackaveli420 not everything about djing is hip hop... i scratch electro and house :/ you're right about the progression... like ur vids

  • @Mackaveli420 There are some people that keep hating on the new technology. I want to see what they going to do when they need to play with the new gears @ the club.

  • @Mackaveli420 have to agree but they decks suck ass tits, i have the cdj 400 package and it beats them things by a long shot, if you wanna go pro its the cdj 2000s with the djm 2000 if you dissagree then you are an old caveman using vinyls......... the future is coming so be prepared...............

  • @jockrockwell i bet this guy would smash you in a dj battle...what ever the decks

  • @djclixthebeatman never said i was better only saying my decks are better, end of.

  • @jockrockwell if your saying the future is coming, then be read for midi controllers to knock your overpriced cdjs into their grave. and just btw, its the dj, not the gear, that gets famous. just because pros use cdj 2000's doesnt mean that the cdjs made them famous. look a djedjotronic, fucking djing on the hercules dj rmx and now hes djing at events like i love techno and such...

  • @TheFaderFreaks seriously piss off and grow up that was months ago i posted a comment on this things have changed again iv got a tracktor controller S4 lol you need to stop commenting and get djing and just enjoy it ;)

  • @jockrockwell CDJ-2000: overrated shit with expensive price (I will not waste my money buying one); DJM-2000: overrated shit with very very expensive price (same); CDJ-400: a better value/price solution; DN-S3700: the best value/price offering in the market (I'm dj with a lot of experience using Pioneer stuff since CDJ-100, 200, 400, 800, 1000MKx, 500s inclusive, basically I know all the Pioneer stuff) so for me Denon is the future leader in the market, Pioneer is losing floor with its prices.

  • @Mackaveli420 finally some one who is straight up oldschool with an intelligent view on the newer more relevant timecode setups. props for being the bigger man amongst a sea of rusty ass dusty ass old ass fools

  • Damn I cant stand hatin' ass people! do your thing dj shy. Everybody has there own style of djing, you'll idiots!

  • its cuz a cdj is a digital representation of a scratch, its not real

a vinyl is a real analog sound, a real signal of electricity, its the actual plastic scratching against the needle that making the sound, not just some program REMAKING the sound

the only places you see these fools are at fashion shows and exhibitions, playing lady gaga and chris brown, go to a party and its vinyl all day

  • why

  • get real turntables

  • lol he used to show case denon...only reason why he was using these decks....look at djshyproductions and ull see he only uses tts

  • do your research, dj shy can rock on turntables too

  • Do you know tha name of the song at tha very beginning? aka Blaze

  • to all who want the name of the song its...... The East Flatbush Project feat Des "Tried By 12". you're welcome, now give me your souls as payment

  • THANKS DUDE

  • what´s the name of this beat at the beginning of this??

  • hip hop hooray by naughty by nature

  • what´s the name of the beat at the beginning??? plz post me!! ;)

  • thats not even it hah

  • thanks dude !

  • whats the beat at the begining of this, i hear it all the time i cant figure it out

  • the denon's are alot better than the american dj cdi 500.

  • man vinyl is old techoligy man in 2 years they wont exist any more it says on the magaziene pro djs

  • haha good one.

  • Won't exist? You mean all my vinyl will turn to dust????? NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thats not true i seen dj's that use vinyl and they suck so its not what you use but how you use it plus if you can rock crowds with cdjs or vinyl fuck it thumbs up

  • LMAO...bro thats an epic fail you just made yourself look like an dumbass, i suggest you search DJ SHY on youtube and watch his videos, his username is DjShyProductions i believe, you should see him rockin vynils, maybe next time dont jump into conclusion assuming things=]

  • true dat

  • i have the same set up

  • gotta like " the dj " justin bua

  • i want the same setup as you but i would have way better music

  • thanx man

  • can i use serato scratch live with any turntables????????? or do i need special one? some one help me .

  • To use serato all you need is the scratch live unit, and any 2 turntables, or cdjs, or a combination of both. The most common turntables used with serato are technics, but you can also use numark, gemini, stanton, or other DJ turntables.

  • whats most important is teh ssl unit

  • @MONIE909PPL

you can use any or non for that fact.... all you really need is the serato box, But if you wanna scratch like this you def need either good cdjz or turntables(technics)

  • u got skills man

  • Djing is also not all about scratching

  • Im pretty sure with this guys scratching skills he can do the same on normal technics

  • ok I guess but doesn't compare to all the REAL djs who developed and mastered their skills on vynil without the help of computer software. In my opinion laptop djs aren't real djs

  • lol why does it matter what real djs are or not.. its about the music..

  • as long as you can make a club bang dont matter what u use.

  • lol why dont you type in djshyproductions in the search bar youtube and youll find that this guy uses mostly turntables, with serato of course but who spins on just pure vinyl nowdays? that would be retarded except for scratch/turntablists of course.

  • its not bad use a lappy just bad to rely on wave forms instead of ur ears.

  • You got skills but your taste in music sucks. If I was at a club and you played some of that garbage I'd leave.

  • lol 50 cent... what a gay nigga

  • does any 1 know the track hes scratchn at the end 4:4o

  • Not bad juggling considering not using wax. Respect.

  • Cool As Set Bro A DJ is a DJ with or with out vynil if you can do CD's You Can Do Vynil fuck all them haters they just mad cause their mixes aint got shit views

    -Keep It Rockin' !

  • I don't know about that, "if u can do cd's u can do vinyl" quote..... Pretty sure I've seen that one proven wrong a few times. I'll bet money Mr. Shy learned how to do this on VINYL first.... I've MET a MILLION dj's who can't do ANYTHING with a turntable versus a cd deck.....

  • nice video men...

    keep it uppp~

  • Nice :)

  • more like dj shyt

haha jk how $ for everything but the laptop

  • the haters are just gutted they cant afford to move with the future, you never know one day they may just sign off the dole get them self a job and bin their soundlab belt drives.... but i doubt it very much..

  • Mad Skillz kid.... mad skillz. great beat jugglin' and I like the track selections. Keep up the good work.
