@samcharman100 practice bro. There's nothing anyone can do or say that will make you better. Sure you can get pointers from pro DJ's, that won't make you be able to do it. You have to practice over and over and over. You're going to screw up a lot along the way but its ok. The idea is to keep doing it and sooner or later you're going to start picking up patterns that work and sound good. Practice those patterns until you perfect them. And record your stuff 2, helps to hear what ur doing wrong

Any real DJ knows PROGRESSION is the KEY to elevating hiphop and KEEPING IT ALIVE.Sure vinyl was the father of hiphop and the 1200 was its mother.Theres shit you can do on Serato you CANT do on vinyl.. You can make custom tracks to use just like custom pressed LP's as well.. Plus, Its so much easier to carry to a gig than 10 crates of LP's.. I am 100% old school ( check my page ) but even I know that if you do not evolve you die.. The same goes for the DJ..
