i disagree with you, no game is perfect but this game is very fun to play. i would say you should play it again and give it a FAIR chance. of course this is the demo version which is not a final build. I can say from experience that the retail version is fantastic.

2K9 is not as good as MLB the show. Waiting to buy a ps3 over an xbox three pubey was a great decision. xbox has noticeably lower graphics quality. do yourself a favor and trade in your xbox

i hope your comment isnt soley based off of the quality of this video of the DEMO. Dont be so broad by saying The Show is better than 2K9, please give details IN YOUR OPINION what makes it better. Furthermore you dont even have a PS3 so how you honestly say its better. So when you finally get a PS3 and have spent an equal amount of time with both games then come back and give us an informed "non-biased" opinion of each game..and then your comment may have some validity.

2K9 messes up pedroia too, they dont put his eye paint on, but 2k9 does do a good job with how the players warm up atthe plate. The show is Visually better tho but 2k9 is more fun to play, but the show has an outstanding franchise mode with Road to the Show, 2K needs to do something like that next year. The game looks better on PS3 tho or ur TV sux, maybe cuz im playing on a 56 inch Hitachi LCD HD Tv or my 42 inch Samsung LCD HDTV BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Hold the Righ Stick down before the pitchers releases the ball then push up on the stick to hit it. use the Left stick also to Influence the swing, up- flyball, down-grounder etc.

Thanks, i finally figured it out after watching a review from Gamespot. I was trying to influence the swing with the right stick while swinging which was causing me to "take" pitches and ultimately striking out. Since then i have figured out they have made the hitting as well as the pitching controls simple. I was thinking i was not doing something right when i was pitching but I was doing correctly.
