Gold barbs doing what fish do

I just got me two gold barbs, but I dont know the difference in gender..........any tips??

@SunkieWard The males have a black checkered pattern on their bodies (the ones in this video are all male). The females have more of a solid gold color, and are typically fatter than the males.

@Cracktusify odd, barbs of any variety aren't really known to be the east bit shy. that is odd....
