I don't hate V day, but i don't like it either. V day makes all the people who aren't strong minded feel sad on V day, because they don't have someone to celebrate it with..i've only celebrated it once, but i told my ex that i don't like valentines day, it's stupid. she just said okay, but i ended up surprising her with flowers and a promise ring. But in all honesty it doesn't matter how many V days i go through it'll always be stupid to me.
Charles, Valentines isn't meant to be "the only day" or "the special day" where you show the person you love that you love them. It's the day where you recognize your love and give that person a present... something special like a dinner that you don't normally do in your "everyday love." It's not meant to replace that "everyday love" but enhance it. It's like Christmas... you're supposed to be giving all year long, but Christmas is when you show it and be special about it.

Last Valentines Day not only was I single, I also had a speed skating competition. In my very first race I was knocked unconscious by my rival. I spent the rest of the day (and three days after) laying on my bed, face swollen, unable to speak, eat, or sleep. That was a sucky Valentine's Day.

&& those who are like that with Valentines Day.... (the whole pressure thing) are just dumb. don't surround yourself with guys like that. or one guy that's like that... && I love seeing everyone's bright face's on Valentines Day when they DO receive things, it makes me happy..

Last Valentines Day not only was I single, I also had a speed skating competition. In my very first race I was knocked unconscious by my rival. I spent the rest of the day (and three days after) laying on my bed, face swollen, unable to speak, eat, or sleep. That was a sucky Valentine's Day.

I hate Valentines Day because i never get treated any different than any other day. I've never had a Valentine or got a gift on that day. And I always get my hopes up thinking someone will finally ask me or get me a gift. But I'll always have hope. One day it'll happen.

Valentines Day is fun for the adult couples and awful for adult singles. It's fun for kids if it's a school day because then you get candy from the class. But as a teenager, it's just a scheduled night for your parents to do it. Awkward :\

Ok so I see this guy and ask him to be my valentine and he says yes. So i go out and buy him smomething really expensive. I wrapp it up very neatly and go to his house. When i get there he is on the couch doing his ex- girlfriend. This is why I hate Valentines Day. The people you ask like always trick you and stuff.

There really isn't that much pressure for guys on Valentines day. Just buy some flowers, chocolates and take your girlfriend/wife/whatever to dinner. If you are low on cash make dinner. Guys complaining about Valentines day is extremely unattractive.

Well, I had a girlfriend and I loved her very much, she said that she did, but she was an idiot. And she waited until valentines day AND AFTER I gave her a valentine present and she said that she thought I was cheating on her and I wasn't. The next day I see her hanging out with a man that cheats on 100 girls a day and kisses girls 500 times a day. And this is why I ABSOLUTELY HATE Valentines day.
