  • This is a great overlooked gem! Smacking good job! I really wish you hadn't stopped making the Spirit Stompers shorts!

  • cheers for the best LEGO creator

  • i saw bender lol

  • lol bender (i am bender plese insert gerder)

  • @CaptinBulldog how do you make good videos? and how do you get popular? and why did you use play dough that just messes up every lego video

  • @eev123eev To answer your 3 questions: 1, to make a good video, all you need is a good script. If you like reading the script, then the film will be good. 2, I don't know how to get popular, which is why I am not popular. 3, I don't use play dough, I use clay, and the reason for this is because I like to step outside of the confinements of Legos and create stories and characters from my imagination rather than rely on what I can do with just Legos. Also, clay gives my films a unique look.

  • @CaptainBulldog I think the clay is amazing, its what makes you unique.

  • @CaptainBulldog its like you'r 'Thing'

  • 0_0 wow if i was a lego video maker i would suck xD

  • 8:38 snowman headshot

  • very well done animation, voices, etc.

  • Waaw! Amazing video, everything was perfect... Very neat job...

Do you mind one question... again? How did you manage to mach the movements of the minifigures so perfectly to what thay're saying? Do you calculate how many frames you're going to use?

  • @gamer44491 Yes, I do calculate how many frames I need for every line of dialog, and I often have arm movements match up with specific words. I use the program Papagayo, which can be downloaded for free from the website Lost Marble. I load my audio files into Papagayo and select 15 frames per second, and it shows exactly how long the dialog is to the frame. Papagayo is also useful for matching up mouths for mouth animation.

  • Does Two Guns always shoot the roof before a mission!!!!!!??????

  • @Agentk15 I think he does!

  • YOU RULE. Man, you make so many good films, and they're long too! It's a wonder how you can manage. Keep going, man!

  • are you making any new brickfilms?

  • Yes. I just started a short Halloween film. (I had fun making the title page, I think it could be the best title page I've ever had in a film.) It will be released on Halloween.

I'm also almost finished shooting a film that is over eight minutes long, and has a lot of action and no dialog. It should be release sometime next month.

Both films are a little different from what I usually make. I think...

  • This better than THE FRISt witch one second thered

  • man! you have alot of clay don't you.

  • lol, was the plane at 2:26 Bruce Wayne's Private Jet from Lego Batman? And Bender from Futurama was lol-able!

  • No, I actually built that plane myself, and based it on a picture of a real jet.

  • oh, if you have ever played Lego Batman: The Video Game, and unlock it, you will see it looks EXACTLY the same, except they have smoothed down pieces.

    Impressive!

  • I've played some LEGO Batman but I haven't unlocked the plane yet.

  • yeah, I think it's the best LEGO game yet.

My favourite character is my custom one.

It has black legs, red belt, black batman suit, black cape, red arms, black gloves, angry yet smiling head, and long black hair. Try it!

  • i saw your sig-fig with the elves

  • Nice impression of Bender! :D

  • Actually, BakasRvivor, I recorded the sound clip of Bender talking directly from an Episode of Futurama. I can imitate Bender's voice, but I'm nowhere near THAT good. ;D

  • But it sounded so real, anyhow, you rock!

  • sorry, i made that comment before Bender talked

  • i saw Bender!

  • Bender's in this lol!

  • i love this vid its its its a christmasy episode

  • Nice elves and nice snow creatures

  • Nice one, that was a good video, keep'em comin!

  • MAKE MORE! AND NEXT WITH TERRORISTS!

  • LOL! Its awsome and cute. =P

  • Nice

  • that guy doesnt sound black

  • yyyy

  • are u ever gonna make a 3rd spirit stopers?

  • in the next SS movie, plzzz let them fight some terrorists=)

  • coooooooooooooooooool!

  • lol i liked part in 8:39 secs lol it was hilarious when max blew up the demonic snowman`s head lol

  • what kind of clay do you use for stuff like the snowmen?????

  • He's mentioned what kind of clay he's used before in 'The Creator's Lost Tool'. It's called Fimo Polymer Clay. It's very durable but can be sculpted into whatever you want to make, plus you can bake it to harden it.

  • Hey very cool! I'm wondering How many Frames Per Second do you do and How do you make the clay snow men and in your other animations?

  • When's the third Spirit Stompers gonna come out?

  • This movie is awesome, you're my favorite brickfilmer... ever!

And by the way, do you think it'll come a third? If so then I can't wait!

  • Cabbie Benjer plays more of a part than in the ghostly job.

    5 star!

  • i loved it but prefered the ghostly job please make more

  • "I am Bender,insert gurder"lol!

  • dude, your animations are off the hook, mine arent nearly as good. cn u go on some off my animations and tell me what needs improving

  • Hey Captain Bulldog! I am also a Lego animator, but my work isn't nearly as good as yours!!! You are an amazing brickfilmer, and as well as a good storyteller! I was wondering if you could check out somee of my videos. And do you and Twobit Productions work together?

  • I'm glad you enjoy my films.

TwoBit Productions is my brother, and so is Philosopher Shale, and sometimes we do films together.

  • oh whoa that's cool. Just wondering, what did u think of my films?

  • The first one was better but this movie is still one of the best on You tube

  • This is just as good as "The Ghostly Job". You've really outdone yourself on that one and this one as well. Keep up the good work man!!

  • funny

  • Please Name of the song (it is at the end). :-(

  • The song used in the end is "Masters In This Hall," by Mannheim Steamroller.

  • you use a lot of clay dont you?

  • Yeah.

  • well you better watch how much you use it because if you use to much it wont be a bickfilm.

  • Will there be a 3rd SS?

  • Yes. There WILL be more films with the Spirit Stompers. :) I have a bunch of scripts ready and waiting to be filmed. All I need now is time.

  • Sweet! keep up the good work. You are a really active Brickfilmer.

  • "I AM BENDER, OLEASE INSERT GIRDER" lol my favorite part besides the snowmen fight

  • 3:37-3:40 rofl

  • how you make the snow in the bACKground?

    cool 5/5

  • It was just as good as the first SS.

    Mademe laugh.

    Funny at 8:39. 5/5 stars

  • DUUDE!!! this is increadible!!!

  • Is that just playdoh you use, or some sort of air drying clay for the customized pieces you make ?

  • I use Fimo and Sculpy polymer clay for most of my customs. It's a pliable clay that hardens when you bake it. For objects like the demonic snowmen and other things that I want to keep pliable, I use a type of modeling clay, which stays soft.

  • YA MORE GHHOST FIGHTERS :)

  • lol:) 5 stars

  • wouldnt they atleast have wiskey at the north pole, santa loves it

  • Yeah, Santa does love his whiskey, but he hides it from the elves.

  • haha, and by the way, I love the new max head

  • another great work by Jason"Captain Bulldog"Boyle

    Merry Christmas

  • Sam's guns look different from the ones in the last film.

  • also, max's head is diffrent, but it fits better I think

  • Yeah, Sam's guns have shorter barrels, which I think looks a bit better and is easier to animate.

And Max's head changed. I wanted Max to have a face that wasn't smiling so much, but still had the dark glasses, and I found the perfect one. His slight beard is good too.

  • i have a question captainbulldog, how do you make the decales you use for your custom figures( i now you use mate paper)

  • I use a template from ClassicCastleDOTcom, (they also have sample torsos that I've used too), I use the Gimp to draw my custom decals on the template, I print them out on normal computer paper and use a really thin layer of sticky tac to hold them on the minifigures.

  • I'd like to say that this is really awsome, nice work!

    Merry Christmas Captain Bulldog!

  • And a very merry Christmas to you, too!

  • Best Christmas movie EVER!!!

  • awesome.i loved the bender part.nice job

  • amazing film. Merry Christmas

  • Merry Christmas!

  • Lol that was funny.

  • just out of curiosity, HOW THE HECK DO YOU MAKE A BRILLIANT 10 MINUTE STOP MOTION IN THREE WEEKS?! well, I assume that you made it in about 3 or 4 weeks, because your last video was for thanksgiving

  • Well, I actually started filming this back in October. I paused the project to make my Thanksgiving film, and then continued as soon as my Thanksgiving film was done.

I'm so glad that I managed to make a film for Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. That's the first time. Next year I should try to tackle Groundhog Day and Valentine's Day.

  • oh wow, it must be really hard to get the holiday spirit into these when you make them months ahead of time. great job!

  • Yeah. When I was working on scene one, I wasn't sure if I should be listening to my Halloween CDs or my Christmas music.

  • cool! THE NEW SPIRIT STOMPERS IS OUT!
