I agree that Montoya is a great driver. But, it was carried away by his anger, so I think that the results obtained on their way through the F1 are what he deserved. An idol as Gilles Villeneuve, Ayrton Senna, and a few others, is not that pilots with anger, but that is not afraid and accept what is provided to leave everything on the track

(1º Part) - 1driver (Toyota's team) was driving really slow.. 2 driver - coulthard/ Red Bull was overtaking Toyota's car but he was SLOW TOO... 3 driver/Juan was driving correctly, and tried to overtake the toyota just as the second driver. If I had Juan Montoya behind me, and I am pretty slow, certainly I'm not gonna overtake the first driver....
(2 PART). I'm gonna brake and wait until Juan overtakes me and the toyota's car.
So, I think coulthard was the wrong guy on that situation...That's what I think.

He killed nobody...it was an accident. Ralf Schumacher and Jaques Villeneuve had a crash in the 2001 australian GP and a track marshall was tragically killed by a wheel flung from Jacques Villeneuve's disintegrating car.

Guys like Montoya would never achieve success in a TOP quality competition such as Formula One; and that's why he only managed to succeed at some range in the US. Period.
@GTSpeedster Um he started out on a second tier team with Williams and had good success. Then he went to Mclaren where he was winning but the damn car was so unreliable. Thats why Kimi went to Ferrari. Had Mclaren made a car that could go the distance he and Kimi would have been contending for the drivers championship. what screwed up montoya's season was in Australia. Qualifying, the track is drying out everytime a driver is putting a lap. With about 5 drivers to go Bam! it starts raining. A certain pole position went down to 10th place. And with the bad qualifiying procedure it shattered his season.
You hate JPM for moving out of the way? The Toyota in front of Juan was moving slowly, another Ralf-hearted attempt at GP racing, so he moved over and out of the way.
Then, we have David Coulthard. I respect David, but he lost his race craft after being dumped by McLaren. He gets into the back of another driver and somehow Montoya is at fault.
No one liked Montoya because he had balls! He smashed many record times, including Istanbul...a record that still stands!

Then to worsen things up, he was allowed to re-enter the race only to ruin the chances of Schumy for the championship braking in front of the german and taking him out of the race.

JPM brought Charisma,personality,race crafta,fantastic combative persona who fought relentlessly against the unblemished F1.Obviously there is a limit to how much bullshit you can handle and this unfortunately lead to JPM leaving,but even in this short time JPM has left records standing, one of them is the memorable lap at Monza 02 as the fastest lap in F1 history .Ultimately real people with integrity will remember him as the great overtaker. He killed nobody...it was an accident. Ralf Schumacher and Jaques Villeneuve had a crash in the 2001 australian GP and a track marshall was tragically killed by a wheel flung from Jacques Villeneuve's disintegrating car.
Montoya abused this fact. I think that was heartless and just disgusting. But that´s how we know him...loosing self control in almost every confrontation. That´s why i don´t respect montoya.

Thats why Kimi went to Ferrari. Had Mclaren made a car that could go the distance he and Kimi would have been contending for the drivers championship. what screwed up montoya's season was in Australia. Qualifying, the track is drying out everytime a driver is putting a lap. With about 5 drivers to go Bam! it starts raining. A certain pole position went down to 10th place. And with the bad qualifiying procedure it shattered his season.

You hate JPM for moving out of the way? The Toyota in front of Juan was moving slowly, another Ralf-hearted attempt at GP racing, so he moved over and out of the way.
Then, we have David Coulthard. I respect David, but he lost his race craft after being dumped by McLaren. He gets into the back of another driver and somehow Montoya is at fault.

No one liked Montoya because he had balls! He smashed many record times, including Istanbul...a record that still stands!
He was, i think with exception of Kimi, the only one to stand up to "shoemaker" and to the FIA's silly rules of regulation! He even said that "what is the point of racing in F1 if most of the time you are not allowed to pass the one in front of you?"
I liked him as a F1 driver, he kinda screwed up the move to Mclaren, but i think by that time, he was thinking of quitting F1!

That's one racist imbecile video... mark blundell is a failure. At best an average driver on F1, Juan was up to be a champion, but team McLaren (as with Alonso) ruined everything. Not that I don't like McLaren, but it was just not the right place for him. He had no guilt in that accident, it was something Michael did a lot while behind safety cars and no one ever criticed him for that.

If one considers that Spa-Francorchamps is regarded as the ideal GPrix F1 Track, one might conclude that David Coulthard is not up to the standards. In 1998 was guilty for producing the biggest crash in F1 history. Then to worsen things up, he was allowed to re-enter the race only to ruin the chances of Schumy for the championship braking in front of the german and taking him out of the race.

INDEED!. JPM brought Charisma,personality,race crafta,fantastic combative persona who fought relentlessly against the unblemished F1.Obviously there is a limit to how much bullshit you can handle and this unfortunately lead to JPM leaving,but even in this short time JPM has left records standing, one of them is the memorable lap at Monza 02 as the fastest lap in F1 history .Ultimately real people with integrity will remember him as the great overtaker.
