  • Film without dialogue, and tells the story in such a way that takes your breath away at times in the chest. Great staff, amazing play of light and shadows, and great music which is a perfect complement for this film. The final scene fills the immense wave of human emotion and sadness.

  • Fuckin' awesome

  • I get the poetry and art

why did he have to die for her?

    what is the main conclusion?

  • @LeXouR1 sacrifice.

  • extremely abstract and haunting, tyvm for posting this work of art.

  • that dude got owned

  • Damn, I love this movie!

I bought this on dvd, and I was so amazed the first time I saw it.

It's so crushingly beautiful, and so sad at the same time. The way it's shot, the music...

I think Genesis and Aftermath are really complementary. Genesis is so human, "warm" and emotional, as opposed to Aftermath which represents death in all its coldness, bodies (alive and dead) are shown as "just flesh", mechanical things.

Two beautiful pieces of work, I must say.

  • @grcicgoran I'll look on the DVD and post it back here :)

  • @grcicgoran I see you deleted your comment... Have you found what the music is?

I looked on the dvd, there's no mention of it in the credits.

I also listened to the audio commentary. Unfortunately the director talks about classical music in his short films, but he doesn't say what music is used :(

I think I read somehwere (an interview on the web before the shorts were avaialable on video) that he used some music from a "music library", a friend of his let him use it without paying for it

  • @CedLePingouin Thanks for your effort. I accidentally deleted the comment. I still dont know the music from the first part of the movie. Thanks again. I was pleasantly surprised with your reply.

  • Very impressive. Thanks for uploading.

  • sad as hell

  • what was the point of all of this?? what happened and why?? for the content of this "movie" it was too long... should have been less than 10 minutes.

  • @mrlovespread2006 you couldn't tell what it was about and what happened?

  • stunning film, wow

  • so he brought her back to life and now he is a stone.... weird but i liked it..

  • T-T made me cry, i love this movie...

  • that was absolutley beautiful. haunting and quite sad. i liked this so much better then aftermath. it's to bad that cerda is known mostly for aftermath, because people see aftermath and completley dismiss anything else he has done and this realy is worth seeing,
