Another one of Memphis wrestling's off the wall characters to keep things funn and interesting. I loved to go to the live shows at the Jackson coliseum, now Oman arena. and to watch it on Saturday morning. You never knew what was going to happen, and there were always a lot of different wrestlers and storylines. Not everyone was a steroid enjanced or silicon injected parody. You had god guys, heels, distracted referee's and managers with weird stables. Classic, funny and missed
he was also "Cowboy" Tony in WCCW/USWA...as well as Eric Embry's Limo Driver,"Driver" Tony...I think he's not promoting in TN & the surrounding area(s)...& his son,LT,is a top up-&-comer in them (& other) promotions...
I had the pleasure of working with Tony for 8 years as announcer of his All Star Wrestling promotion in Paducah, KY. When people like Stone Cold Steve Austin, Mick Foley, The Rock, and Jeff Jarrett put you over, you know you're well loved. Here's to Tony!
@multivox Tony Faulk in real life is a guy who will do anything for anybody He never recieved his just dure to hold a championship I feel Eddie Marlin didnt use him rto his full potential
I always loved Tony Falk. He could pull off anything they threw his way and do it with a smile. Classic talent he was indeed. Cowboy Tony was his next ride, then Driver Tony. Guys like Tony will never be replaced.
@oldschoolnwa68 I suppose it could be although it seemed like a combination of Exotic Adrian Street and Adrian Adonis (I think Adonis started to do his gimmick slightly before Boy Tony.)
However, Tony and Adonis missed the boat, by this time Culture Club was long gone and Boy George was rapidly becoming a train wreck due to drugs.
@salanh True but it was still mid 80's in Tennessee. If you even tried wearingmore than one earring you were liable to get your ass beat. Just the way it was. He had considerable heat.
