Go outside. Honestly I play video games. I played portal 1 and 2. I have logged countless hours in many other games, but I don't find any satisfaction in gathering in huge masses and getting excited over something that isn't real. Video games are not reality. They are a fun escape, but in the end you are still alone in a room.

You go there, meet new people, talk with people in the industry (and if you're good, you might also land a job as an insider...) and more generally have a good time. Video games are not real, true, but they are sure better than watching American Idol with your gf (mine loves Portal, eg.) and Jonathan Coulton is a REAL musician, Still alive is a REAL song. And a damn good one.

As for auto-tuning Ellen McLain, are you kidding? It's the most blatant (and intentional, by the way) use of auto-tune since T Pain's music. It's SUPPOSED to be auto-tuned, because it's supposed to sound like a computer.
