I've done 200,000 miles in Rover cars and never had a head-gasket problem, just cheap, comfortable and economic motoring.

Two of my Rovers have had Honda engines, but the engine I have found to be the best is Rover's 2-litre M and T-series engines, no head-gasket issues with those. Unfortuanately the K-series problem seems to have made everybody think that all they ever made was was unreliable engines, but it really isn't the case.

Anyway, the car in my film was the 2-litre diesel, again this suffered no problems, and known by many as pretty much bomb-proof.
