I dont see this guy as being Anti American. I aint even an American but I think a lot of his songs will translate globally to any working class person. I think he is just for the workers wherever you come from. Hell man, I am from a coal mining industry that was murdered by an evil UK government in the mid 1980s and I can totally relate to a lot of stuff this guy sings even if I am 3000 miles away!

James Mc Murty is the voice of the working poor. I love his music and agree with every word he says in "we can't make it here anymore",if you don't step off the bus in Detroit,or go to a town thats been left for dead by the textile industries.
