I know that the revolution is longer and narrow 350 lbs max. You can cruise faster. It look like a fish killing machine . I like it.
The outback 2010 is shorter and 1 inch wider 450 lbs max, outback cruise not sure between the two .The hull of the outback 2010 has improved and very stable ,
It's 28.5 vs. Outback's 33" Never tipped, not even when I was trying as a test to the boat's stability. I used the boat mostly for exercise and that's why I chose the Revolution's speed over the Outback's extra stability. If fishing is your primary goal then the Outback might make more sense. I fished on the back of the Revolution while my 30 my year old daughter pedaled. She loved it and the boat was very stable. No matter which one you choose you can't go wrong. Enjoy!
@echo1er Yes, I have a lot of nice people like yourself watching my video's. I hope that I can help others learn from my mistakes and Adventures from it.......
This video from Alan is one of the reasons I bought a Hobie Revolution and continue to share videos with other to learn . Alan is a great person that talk to me and answered all my question about his kayak. Till now I still luv that Revo , it is a great vessel.
