  • oh my god! you'r hand are so pale! D: either your sick, or you dont get enough sunlight, maybe even both!

  • hey i found a new algorithims: F, U, U, U, U, U

  • @1235Jordan1235 the extra U's are pointless it can be shortened to F U, no offense ;)

  • cool

  • Comment removed

  • r2 d2 :D

  • @fusionfallhacker1 That was the first thing I thought when I heard r2 :D

  • Hey guys, if you are having trouble with this step, just check out my new channel and each step is a video just like this so that i can get in detail on each part

    Check it out plz!!!

  • @Thrawst

    The apostrophe means 'Prime'.

  • he says f u lol!!

  • Why can't you just call the sides blue, yellow, yellow', etc. ?

  • U want me to remember all that!

can´t u just say how tt works so i understand it, and i can figure it out me self.

  • A face turning clockwise would be that face normalized to your direction. Turning the right face clockwise would be R. Turning the left face counter-clockwise would be L'.

  • just say R', say R prime. but you have a great method to solve the rubiks cube, i used the Dan Brown method, and now im screwed fro learning the Friedrich's lol

  • thats okay, dan browns is faster

  • haha no

  • i as in inverted or counter clockwise!

  • WHAT IS DW?!

  • DW= Dont Worry

  • LOL

    Okay.

  • ..... notation

  • thz!!

  • I've been cubing for 2 or 3 years now and only now i know notation...=)

  • y did we need to know notations?

  • 4 speed-solving..... :)

  • you'll later learn better methods that require you to learn notation

  • Dude i means invert

  • u spent over 2/3 of ur video talking about notation, i wanted to see a video on HOW TO DO STEP 3.. NOT NOTATION

  • In that case, move onto the next video, and DEAL WITH IT. This guy did us all a good deed by trying his best to teach us cubing, far more than you've ever done on anything.

This video is...3 years old; he's like one of the first, if not the first to put up these tutorials, want a better video, find another guy to watch.

I learnt how to solve from this guy and gogobat, but mainly this guy; good times.

  • pogo bat

  • you studder alot

  • ri is not just for talking the i means invert

  • LOL!

  • then why you watching his video

  • fuck u pogo bat rocks

  • I have the same speakers as you...

    harman/kardon right?

  • cmon man y would u switch cubes??????????

  • so cool man.thxxx

  • im only really looking through rubiks how tos to try to get faster, and looking through the comments on this i realize just how hard it was for me to learn notation

  • i'ts a warn down cube. it happens with overuse. that's also how it moves so well

  • cant ualso say right invertedup inverted?

  • u lost me at R'

  • Mac's suck, PC RULES!

  • I don't own a rubik's cube :(

  • g\you can use gabbasoft

  • shouldn't you have taught notation in part 1? this is completely out of order, stick with dan brown.

  • is there another way to solve the cube? cos my friend said this method was not as efficient as his method and his unwilling to teach me...

  • uh gogle rubiks cube and go to there site and they have a couple methods that are pretty good

  • um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um umum um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um um

  • I'm stuck i have the upper face complete two of the othe sides with 6 and the others 5 the orange needs to go in the blue space and the blue need to go into the orange space Please help.

  • well you messed up, try again

  • Ur not the only one that forgot the notion=.=

  • dont you mean lik front invertied

  • Front inverted is not the formal way R' which stand for Right Prime is the formal way

  • did fuckin dan brown teach u that shit, well its wrong R Prime F prime F two Or instead of "prime" you can say I(eye).

  • ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • i actually started off with the Rob54 guys or something like that... and its a lot easier. im just looking at all of the videos and seeing how they are all mostly simular...

  • i am a long time fan thrawst but badmephisto's tutorial is way better

  • hey!! can you guys go check out my solve!! its okay... but im trying to get better

fastest solve is 28 sec!! :)

  • y do u say prime or ' or just the letter I

i just say right inverted or back inverted

  • 2 things whats for d and i have same speakers

  • You really think this is true? How is a killer supposed to know you read this? You people are so ignorant.

  • does RI mean Right Inverted?

  • yes

  • i believe thrawst have a video on how to lube the cube and what he use to lube it. well basically he uses silicone spray and he dismantle the cube and spray every single piece except for the core and play with it for awhile to make it smooth

  • that is sooo confusing :S

  • this was helpful

  • what about D?

  • what do you use to "lube" up your cube? or make it faster?

i use vasoline and it moves pretty freaking fast. but not as fast as yours. what do you use to make it move so quickly?

  • use silicone, way faster than vasolene

  • actually if you want it to move xtra smooth like a speedcube buy some cube lube from puzzleproz on ebay

  • how you lubricate that cube man>>>

  • COOL

  • yah ur good... and wow.. how many cubes do u have anyway???

  • only 3

  • only 3 what

  • only 3 cubes

  • LMAO!!!!you didnt even spell it right, you are truly an idiot.

  • I stand for inverted.

  • no, ' does in the official version.

  • Yes ,but the actual word is inverted.

  • finally some1 thats not a fag!

  • your are very good, and nice beginner vids. taking time to explain notation is great, even seasoned pros (which im not) can use a good refresher course once in a while.

  • lol

  • lol give him a break he's prolly new to it xD

  • yeah xD :D

  • why?? what did I do wrong??

  • yeah pogobat does it fast but I understand everything... Its easy... but thanks to you for cutting many algorithms away :D:D

  • Pogobat shows off too much he does the notations and algorithyms very fast while this guy does it bit slow so u can understand thanks for ur vids man

  • yea i get confuzed about the left side too

  • teach me the easiest or fastest pattern in 3rd layer

  • Unfortunately, you don't learn the fastest way to solve it in the "beginner's method". I would suggest F2L + OLL + PLL. If you want the easiest way to solve it, then keep watching this video.

  • i means inverted so just say inverted!

  • it's a little better when you just say it as prime =D

  • if you concentrade on the video and on your hearing, the keep saying ''uppm'' and it is funny

  • hey you should check out my beginner way to solve the cube i think it'll help:)

  • For people finding that they do not understand the notation from this video, I would recommend the videos from the user "pogobat" whose notation is exactly the same, except for him using "Ri", instead of "R'" (i=inverted), in his 3x3x3-videos.

  • tnx man 4 d' vid its good.. ü

  • The begining win u Switched the Cubes n used Letters Confused the shit out of me

  • what is y? because i saw somewhere a random y.

  • it means you rotate the cube, so does x

  • its like the axises

there are x, y, and z. X is to rotate the cube clockwise (when looking at the left side.) Y is to rotate the cube Clockwise when looking at the top. And Z is rotating it Clockwise when looking at the back

  • Heh... Everyone has different notation. Mine is T=Top, F=Front, R=Right, B=Back, L=Left, and U/D=Under/Down.

    Anyway good video.

  • its cuz he probly doesnt wanna pay for a new one an they probly spin really easily to

  • sorry for my comment, i make something wrong when i cheat, sorry, sorry, you are great man

  • also, if u have a 5x5 or a 4x4 u should consider the notation that u may see on grintoth's video, "how to solve a rubik's cube revenge part i" it uses arrows and is AWSOME for any cube so that you dont have to do like wierd crap like centerslices, and it helps you memorize the algorithms faster.

  • im not complainin, but whomever came up with that notation sucks, i know its standard and all, but my notation is p-perifrial(bad spelling) l-left r-right-t-top b-bottem f-front, and i dont use ' i use + or - or 2 eg a basic algorithm for me miught be R-, B+, R+ (brings corner up) you should consider this method for notation,...

  • ummm you don't have to...uhh...rush...ummm...on the uh, tutorials...ummm yeah.

  • yeah.tricks that would be cool

  • UMM UMM UMM UMM thats all u hear throughout the video lol nice vid by the way xD

  • hahahahaha

  • You show him, boy. Go viet.

    Great vid.

  • shut up big butt ugly kyle

  • I've seen you on like every rubiks video and you say the same thing.

  • Can u make a video of like a bunch of different tricks to do

  • at 4.10 does that cube seem t have 2 blue faces (Upper and left????)

  • Thank you, you are a good teacher!!!

  • Loser, you can't spell. Its sense not 'sence'

  • i think u need a new cube

  • lolz

  • i liked your part on notation, i didn't really use your guide, my friend alex did though and he's really good at it now. i use the dedmore guide off a website since i learn better from text. it's just they didn't use the notation part, they used pictures, so i had to learn notation from your part of the video and write down the algorthums from the picture based algorthums to actually do it without the paper (if you know what i'm talking about) thanx for all your help

  • thankyou, your a good teacher just dont be so nervous lol

  • your first part was great and it worked, except the T patern. If i use your 1st step i do get the field with the same colour, but where you have got the T patern i only got 2 of the same colour, so, does it matter with what patern you start?

  • smoke a blunt

  • i saw this notation thingy formula and it had a y' and an x.. what was that? cause i was really confused about it..

  • :) good job, how did u learn to rubiks ur cube? ur better than all the internet sites i saw that tries to teach.

  • ok im learning pretty good

  • You talk too much -.-

  • lol, your comment is funny. Are you talking about thrawst?

  • thnx alot i got it packed down to like 15mins lmao, im still learning and btw ur a great teacher, the only ting thats confuses me is the whole notation thingy
