Sorry, I just saw your comment. The guitar is a Yamaha "Silent" guitar andi it is the steel string version. It also has a great acoustic sound when it is amplified. You can view samples of this on some of my other videos. You have to have an effects pedal (I was using a Zoom in this video.) to get it to sound like an electric guitar
