I was on king island from 06-07 about 10months, working on the King Island dairy. The best times I had there was when I spend the night on martha lavinia beach with to friends, fishing all night long with a big bon fire,, and smoking weed :)) The waves are massive and blue

Many thanks for the comment. Have just done a lap of the Island in a friends ultralight aircraft to take some video and am putting together a short clip which really shows some of the beauty & remoteness, especialy the beaches. Should be finished in a couple of weeks and you may like that

I recently had the opportunity to spend a few days there , and its even more beautiful than this very good footage suggests - How lucky you were to spend a year there
