"Typewriters" is one word, and there's no need to put an apostrophe in "bananas." My point is that if you're going to criticize (in writing) Americans as being lowbrow, you should at least appear to have a working grasp of the basics of our language.

There's plenty of room for a silly movie out there, especially with the way things are going. It kind of reminds me of Fight Club; maybe Billy Bob and Jon Heder are actually the same person.

JLB has a point, all the remakes are below standard everything that made the original a classic is lost 2nd time around. Also if we took the arguement that everything is a copy then what about Darwin, Newton and Einstein just for a start. Original sit-comedy hard to copy, plus sugar coated hollywood really takes the darkside side of true genuis away!

The original School for Scoundrels is very 1960, and probably rather tame by today's standards, but quite charming. (Check out the feedback on this at stevegreen -at- livejournal -dot- com.) The Wicker Man was heavily cut at one point, just to get the time down, but its full glory is now restored on DVD. Please, please check it out.
