  • The Lord declared, all the thougths of this heart;all 66 books of the LORD:the end from the beginning in a pure language made of pure words. It did not take the Lord 1,000's of yrs to know his thoughts

  • @BerylBoanerges 73 books. Not 66.

  • The Lord declared, all the thougths of this heart;all 66 books of the LORD:the end from the beginning in a pure language made of pure words. It did not take the Lord 1,000's of years to know his thoughts.Adam had the whole book; as did every generation. The word of God cannot be translated into another language & still be the words that he prounounced, declared, wrote & preserved.Isa 46:9,10,Gen:11:1Ps33:11;68:11;Zeph 3:9;Ps12:6,7; Ps89:34;Prov 22:20,21;Hos8:12Mat 5:18; Act 26:14; Rom3:1-3;Mat4:4

  • a better question is which bible is the word of God....?......none.....which Bible is the word of jesus.......? none.......the bible was in aramaic and there aint no bibile in aramaic

  • @REALDAWAH learn the subject before making comments. The bible was mainly done in Hebrew and Greek and ( some ) aramaic.

  • @notleftbehind Jesus didn’t speak Greek or English and there aren’t any original bibles iv learnt the subject thank you. The bible was written by 1000 of men 100s of years after jesus

  • The widely spoken languages were aramic and greek where he resided and the old testament was translated into Greek 300 years before his birth. The bible was written by 1000 of men and hundreds of year after Jesus lol where did you get that information from. Please quote those references cause that is past beyond ridiculous. LOL what a joke!

  • @REALDAWAH who wrote the bibile...? /watch?v=l8PQ6_0gJUE

  • @REALDAWAH carnt get it to work

  • @REALDAWAH I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing. Hosea 8:12

  • @REALDAWAH Have not I written to thee excellent things in counsels and knowledge, Proverbs 22:20

That I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth; ................. Prov22:21

    Hos8:12

  • @REALDAWAH u r obviously very confused about the issue or too angry with Christians or Christianity.

  • Does Mr. Hocking offer any thoughts on why the most Bible-quoting nation on earth today (the US) behaves just like the empire that crucified Jesus? It appears we have simply gathered together all of the blood-lusting Gods of Egypt, Babylon, Greece and Rome, then slapped the brand name "Jehovah" onto the God-damned package. Just like the Nazis and their "positive Christianity." What would Jesus do? Quote from Deuteronomy 7 and build another American base in a foreign land?

  • I love his no nonsense approach.

    He doesn't sugar coat anything.

  • For me, the best bible translation is The Scriptures which retains the name of Elohim, person, places, and etc. in original Hebrew. The true name of Elohim in Hebrew is Yaweh, pronounced majority by the bible scholars from the Hebrew text יהוה and not Jehovah, Lord, God, and etc.......

  • @rigidjun Elohim Shaddai is Abba Yahweh. The Son is Yeshua.Correct me if it isn't.Its true U r Ryt

  • @Actsixten Even better, if you speak several languages, get at least one translation per language you speak.

  • @Fetrovsky I would't say that, if you stick to just one translation, the translator may have misrepresented the original language. So I personally like to use many. Not saying one is better over the other, just I feel that it is better. :-)

  • @Fetrovsky the words which the Lord pronounced, declared, wrote and preserved cannot be translated and still be his words.

  • @BerylBoanerges The Lord spoke, and He acted. He did not write. Somebody else did. Reding the original language or a particular translation will not give you the full sense of what He is saying, because you do not know all of the intricacies of the language at the time the book was written. That is why comparing translations is useful.

  • @Fetrovsky But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.Acts 4:19

For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.Acts 4:20

I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing. Hosea 8:12

    (read Proverbs 22:20,21)

  • @Fetrovsky Nevertheless what saith the scripture?

Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit. Jer 7:8

  • @Fetrovsky Have not I written to thee excellent things in counsels and knowledge,

That I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth;......................?Proverbs 22:20,21

  • @Fetrovsky I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing. Hosea 8:12

  • Part II By having over 15 different translators (translations) in the room with you, interpreting what the other person is saying in another language, you really get the sense of what the original speaker really said. And not just the one interpretation of one translation. So, I use them all, and they all give me the original meaning of what the authors of the Bible had intended for me to hear. God Bless! :)

  • @Actssixten

Seems to me one would end up with an uncertain confusing mess with this method...Maybe that where Eugene Peterson gets the title for his book ...The MESSage...

  • Which is the best translation? That depends, The KJV is a beautifully written book but has many false out of date verses. The NASB is the most literal. The ESV is also a great literal translation. I personally use the NIV in church, the NLT/Living Bibles for my personal leisure reading, the HCSB is good conservative version of the NIV. The NRSV isn't my favorite. In the end, it's is like having 15 interpreters in the room with you when someone is speaking another language. As opposed to just one

  • @Actssixten Where did you get your information regarding the false and out of date verses in the KJV?

  • @doctordk1948 The tail end of 1 John 5:7 is one good example of what I believe is false. The end of Mark 16:9-20 is another. A good out of date translated verse would be Phil 2:6 with "robbery". This is an old english word that we no longer use. But aside from scriptures like that, I still like the KJV.

  • Respond to this video...where did you get your info on the false, out of date verses in the KJV?

  • blessing after blessing dear david hocking
