Bin Laden belonged to the a very small group the "Arab-Afghans"..he was a group entirely seperatefrom the Afghan Mujahadeen. The CIA was never interested in funding a small group of fanatics like Bin Laden. It funded Afghans who had a large following with the Afghan public ..not 100 lunatics from Saudi Arabia.

U.S.A lost 418k

The Soviet Union lost 24 million.

For every 10 German military personnel killed, 9 were killed by a Russian.
