I think the whole point to this is the brass-balls of the wolverine. What other mammal of that size is willing to "drop the gloves" with wolves or bears or whatever? It's an interesting fighting style: defensive, almost cat-like with it's four paws along with good ol'fashioned strength. Those little fuckers are strong, as you could see the wolf couldn't buck loose from that tenacious wolverine. Seems that wolverines also have good stamina.
You people are insane. The wolverine clearly and easily won this fight. The bloody nose on the wolf said it all. Obviously you losers are very biased to the wolf.
@Seereeuss.. what the hell are you flapping about? What film did you watch? Did you imagine that or do you have this imaginary film to share with the rest of us?
The real question is, what were they fighting over? Maybe the wolf thought the wolverine was food, but realized the effort it would take to kill it wouldn't be worth the expended energy. Or perhaps he invaded the wolverine's territory, and figured it was easier to just go around him. If he was starving or protecting his pack, the outcome likely would have been different.
The point of a wolverine's legendary agressiveness is not how many larger predators it's killed (even if that number is zero), but the fact that it fights so viciously that a larger animal will back down because it's not worth getting seriously injured. Even most people won't fight someone who is careless for their own safety since such a person usually seriously harms their attacker even if they lose the fight.

After viewing this video it may be true that even though the wolf is the natural predator that it needs to be in numbers in order to win. Wolverines just don't care, they are ruthless and they have so much moveable fat on their bodies that they feel little pain and that fat is an obstacle for the wolf to get a good bite.
@finaltits The film here was shortened from it's original length. But still one can see how the wolf did the deadlier damage. It registered throat-bites to start, & later tongue-bites. Less proved to be more here in the end. Notice that at about 1:36 the wolf is able to take a deep breath and then shake the wolverine's face left and right to drop it. And when the wolverine falls there, note that, unable to get up, it can only roll around on it's back. A 2nd film without a wolf in it then began
@seereeuss I agree that the wolf did good damage to the wolverine and I actually wished to see the wolf win. BUT....in the end they both walked away, meaning that the fight was for nothing and nothing was accomplished other than meaningless injury to each other. :p
@finaltits THE WOLF WON. At 1:28 the wolf shook the wolverine's face left and right and then dropped it for good. The wolverine could only roll on it's back and lay after that. A new added-on film then showed - with no wolf - a healthy wolverine able to run and eat. But keep in mind that at about :28 the wolf scored to the 1rst filmed wolverine's throat and at 1:08 the wolf scored to it's tongue. Also, the wolverine in film 2 was eating a snow-coverd carcass. No snow fell during the fight!
In addition, with the hype of honey badgers and wolverines, there is not ONE recorded instance of either animal defeating and killing a mammalian predator it's own size or larger. Honey badgers can take 5-foot pythons and dwarf crocs, which is impressive, and Wolverines can take down moose (weakened, and in deep snow, but only by ambushing it from above and biting the neck), and these are impressive, to say the least, but leave the legends to the side and follo scientific records.
No dude, there is NO record of a 40- lb rine killing a 900 lb grizzly. It doesn't matter who the hell is backing off.....my neighbor's cat is extraordinarily aggressive, probably giving badgers a run for their money, but I would not put it up against a 100 lb husky, if they get that big. And rines DO back down, with one individual recorded running from a lone wolf who was allegedly defending his area. Don't take legends and video footage of RUNS as proof the w'rine is some animal-god.
@AceofDlamonds If your neighbors cat has all it's claws you'd be surprised what it can do.... a cornerd cat with all it's claws is a VERY dangrous animal...their vicious fuckers now I'm not saying it can take a 100 lb husky but if that cat has it's claws that husky is in a DEEP WORLD OF SHIt...people put to much into sise it's mostly about fighting skill and domestic cat's know how to fight...cats are scary animals especially when cornerd
It's true. Cats are remarkably adept at fighting. There is an event that hints to a small leopard killing a silverback gorilla! Now a mean house cat with sharp claws, I would bet against most dogs it's own size or up to 20 lbs heavier in a fight to the death.
But wild fights are much much more about size and strength, and design than innate skill. This is a fact attested by wildlife experts all over. A cat or weasel's claws and flexibility helps it fight dogs, for instance.
Wow I love Wolverines their so bad ass they are so relentless and just keep on ticking....you'll never see a wolverine give up because wolverines quite literally don't give a damn and will fight anything
IN MY OPINION GREY WOLF IS STRONGER THAN WOLVERINE BUT WOLVERINE CAN USE HIS CLAWS AS WELL AS HIS TEETH (LIKE A COUGAR OR LEOPARD) THAT'S WHY WOLVERINE GAVE A GOOD FIGHT TO WOLF, BUT WOLVES ARE CREATURES WHO RUN EVERYDAY , HAVE A GOOD STRENGHT AND HAVE A POWERFUL BITE .I THINK THE WOLF WIN THE BATLE....
@TheDawg412 sorry Mr. compulsive, i just was saying my opinion,... you know what is that right? "My point of you".. okey? and don't get me wrong.. I love wolverine but that's my opinion....
I THINK THE WOLF SAW THAT IT WAS HARD TO KILL THE WOLVERINE, THAT'S WHY HE LEAVES THE FIGHT, NOT BECAUSE WOLERINE WAS SUPERIOR....BUT ITS TRUE THAT WOLVERINE WAS DEFEANDING GOOD... ITS SIMILAR WHEN A MALE LEOPARD FIGHTS AGAINST A FEMALE LION FOR A PREY , THE FEMALE LION IS STRONGER BUT SHE GETS TIRED BECAUSE THE MALE LEOPARD CAN GIVE SOME GOOD FIGHT....
@user2011rb FACT1: The film opened with the wolf eating a carcass uncovered by snow (edited out). Then the fight began with no snow falling throughout it. FACT2: The wolf scored the only deadly damage. Biting the throat at the beginning. Biting the tongue in the middle. And finishing the fight by powerfully jerking the wolverine's face left and right to drop it and leave it unable to rise. FACT3: Before walking away, the wolf circled the fallen wolverine with it's tail dominantly up, not down.
@robwilliams15 The wolverine at the end of these 2 glued-together films is eating a carcass that he is digging out of deep snow. Where did the snow come from? There was no snow falling on the wolverine that fought with the wolf or the carcass!! Also, the wolverine at the end of these 2 glued-together films was able to run to that carcass. The wolverine in the fight was clearly unable to rise. Only the wolf was able to walk away.
hey guys, i wasn't saying that they were not facts. i love wildlife, in fact im goin back to college for it for conservation. I actually just watched the whole hour show which was amazing and was just also happy someone else watched it...
Doesn't really matter what anyones opinion is here. Look at the video... The wolverine has a significant size disadvantage and still magaged to wrestle the wolf down and inflict injury. Bottom line, who went back to eating?
the wolverine did not fuckin win. If you stop an mma fight after a few punches this is what it is like..idk if you can call that a "win". Now make em fight to the death or serious injury an you got some serious disadvantage against the wolverine. Wolf is too big and with a hard bite.
The wolf was backing off after a few bites and scratches...badass? yes, a landslide victory? no.
@AceofDlamonds Doesn't really matter what anyones opinion is here. Look at the video... The wolverine has a significant size disadvantage and still magaged to wrestle the wolf down and inflict injury. Bottom line, who went back to eating?
@AceofDlamonds In the arctic snow, food is not easy to come by. Walking away from food is virtually committing suicide for a predator. That wolf believed he would die if the fight had continued, otherwise he never would have walked away from a meal. The wolverine, on the other hand, never had a doubt who would win; one lone wolf is not is his league. Only a large bear can challenge a wolverine. In that case the outcome is uncertain, but the wolverine will never back down.
don't give me that bullshit. Wildlife experts stress that body size and strength are major factors in winning a fight. The wolf looked tired and uninterested because the wolverine was defending so well. Mustelids are famous for wearing out larger opponents but a deathmatch, no way, wolverine has NEVER been confirmed winning a fight against another mammalian predator it's size or larger. Only a large bear can challenge a wolverine? get some fuckin' facts you fanboy.
@AceofDlamonds uninterested lol? What is this, some kind of cage fight? When two wild animals engage in a fight especially of different species, it's usually to inflict fatal damage, or to the death. The wolverine clamped down on the wolves mouth and was scratching its underbelly with its hind claws. I'm sorry, but the wolf was taking more damage than it can handle, and in the wild, a fatal injury can mean DEATH.
YT wont let me link just google wolverine fights off wolves. tons of reports.
You kidding me? there are reports also of lone wolves chasing wolverines. doesn't prove much. The wolf is larger and more powerful. Ther are reports of wolverine deaths when wolves had to defend. And wolves usually have one or two males do the killing, if they are in a pack.
The wolf could not bite the wolverine, and the wolverine could nto do enough damage, little scratches yes...that could be infected. But never has a wolverine been documented killing a predator it's size
actually, there is evidence that wolverines and honey badgers regularly die from larger predators attacking them out of defense of young or curiosity. In CARNIVORA there are cases of dead wolverines from single or small groups of wolves(usually only the alpha male or a 'co-captain' attacks).....without much of a battle. Truth is, the largest wolverine confirmed was around 45-48 lbs. The largest wolf? 190.
Are you fucking kidding me. The video just proves wolverines can defend themselves. Nowhere did the wolf get seriously injured the wolverine has the strength of DEFENSE. Nothing I said above is blatantly wrong unless you can back it with statistics.
wolverine was able to defend himself....like a kid being picked on forcing a bully off of him. If the wolverine was the aggressor against a wolf 3 times heavier than he, he'd be pretty shaken up.
@AceofDlamonds But wouldn't that situation make the wolf look like a little boy forcing the bully away? In my eyes I saw the wolverine use superior fighting skills and courage to defeat the larger wolf. Possible madness and crazy thinking, but the wolverine won. Not by kill, but by submission.
The wolverine is the one boy forcing the bully away. The larger and more predatory wolf could not advance any further because of the wolverine's jiujitsu-like defense. The wolverine "won" as in he exhausted and repelled the wolf, but he does not have an advantage in an open fight where both predators are attacking and exchanging. That is why I replied critically after you used the word "dominant" as if......
@AceofDlamonds The terrain would make no difference, he would use that BJJ no matter where there fighting, its how they fight, and the wolf will submit every time. How is that not dominant.
well according to separate wild reports, single wolves have killed wolverines without much struggle. In one instance, a wolverine was RUNNING from a wolf. Wolverines are self-defense when it comes to larger predators period.
What do you mean by "submit"? pulling your head out of a fight? The wolverine can't latch on like a human vs human fight simply because the wolf is way too big, even though the rine is more balanced, it's too small period so he made him run, not beat up.
@AceofDlamonds Wow its amazing how retarded you are, no their not "self defense" when it comes to larger predators, their HIGHLY territorial and there is atleast once documented account of a Wolverine taking down a Grizzly. I call those supposed "wild reports" you're referncing to as bullshit since all the video's and reports i've seen, not a single time was a lone wolf able to take down a wolverine.
retarted? you're the one claiming a wolverine took down a full grown grizzly. What was it? a cub? a debilitated animal? cause there's no way it's taking down a bear opponent. Wildlife experts stress body size and attributes in a offensive fight. Don't rely on hearsay, but present your "evidence" to wildlife officials. I bet they'll take it seriously.
You honestly rely on video only to decide on the rine....how open minded. It's unsurprising to me, the wolf is powerful, taller,etc.
@AceofDlamonds The wolverine is far more powerful then the wolf and has claws along with it's large fangs. And yes, it's a FACT that wolverines have (i dont know how often) taken down grizzly's, probably rarely but they still have (tearing neck/spinal area apart most likely). There's also an account of a wolverine trying to steal a kill from a black bear but wolverine was killed, although a wolverine of similar size was recorded doing that to a polar bear and came out the victor. So shut it.
Jesus dude look it up at least one time on record there has been a wolverine that took down a full grown Grizzly plus....why is it that when ever the're encounters between Grizzlys and wolverines who's the one always backing down....the grizzly because grizzlys know that wolverines are bad asses and that wolverine could thump him up...a wolverine will NEVER back down from any animal
@WarBob56565 In the fight film the wolverine was left unable to rise by the wolf after combat over a carcass. No snow was on that edited-out carcass which had once been at this fim's beginning. And no snow fell during this fight which ended with the wolverine lying in place trembling with convulsions. After the wolverine submitted and dropped to the ground, the wolf circled it with it's tail dominantly up and then walked on. So a 2nd film of a healthy wolverine eating a snow-cover carcass began
@l2pknsmfd The blood spot on the wolf's cheek is actually from the wolverine's mouth. If you study the fight, you will note that in the middle of it the wolf scored biting to the wolverine's tongue. To open the fight, the wolf scored bites to the wolverine's throat. To end the fight, the wolf powerfully shook the wolverine's face left and right and dropped it to the ground. The wolverine lay trembling in place and could not rise after that. Only the wolf could walk away. A 2nd film then began.
@seereeuss but in the the fight u can see the wolf back up while being bitten in the nose.. and at the end u can clearly see the wolf has a hole in its nose.
@AceofDlamonds Well then those are some pretty fucking stupid experts since body size and strength has nothing to do with winning a fight, they certainly help, but guess what, animals many times smaller and weaker then their prey/attackers successfully defend themselves/kill prey larger then themselves, thousands of times all around the world each day. Fact: Wolverines have successfully fought off bears, the bear running away means that the wolverine has won the fight. To the death? Depends.
Most predators don't stick around to fight the wolverine. It has been known to chase away wolves and bears. The wolf in this video clearly got owned by the wolverine, as in other videos of wolves vs wolverines. A death match? Most don't stick around to the death, a wolverine can kill deer,moose,etc. I'm sure it can kill a wolf too if it wanted to. Strength and body size...not really, a smaller animal can inflict a fatal wound on a larger animal. So you're wrong!
Um, you don't understand the relationship between predators in interspecific conflicts. Everywhere you look, especially mammalian predators.....body size and bite force are the main dictators of "victory," whether that's to the death or domination. Wolverines and basically all weasels are excellent defenders, but I don't think any more offensive than hunting cats and dogs. Ungulates are rigid herbivores...not a good comparison; Moose died during deep snow cover. continued..
Now guard dogs and Shepards should be very cautious of wolverines, even when they are smaller.....a 100 lb dog vs. 37 lb wolverine, for instance, because wolverines are just too ferocious, but a wolf is a wild animal, a stronger animal with a killer instinct, not to mention a much more powerful bite!
The largest wolves can grow up to 140 lbs or more....wolverine? 40 lbs. That's too much of a difference. Now I would give it a good chance against an 80 lb wolf.
one wolverine was gps tracked climbing 4900 vertical feet in 90 minutes, in deeeeeep snow. Tells you something about the strength and stamina of this animal. Heard some guy say that they will stare into the face of a grizzly bear and sorta "say" I think I can take you. You look like a wuzz =)They dont back down from very much.
@yutzy1 So what? Does that make it wrong? Dident he say that? Cant stand idiots like you, oh ok im wrong cause some guy in a nature show said it. Stay in SCHOOL KIDS. IF you dont, you will end up like yutzy
@yutzy1 What an idiot you are sir, so because i saw the facts on a pbs show, its not facts anymore? Dont understand what you want to say in your post. Pedophile lover.
@RichCwm Well, of course you are welcome to believe whatever you want, but I'd like to inform you that all animal experts agree that a wolverine would kill any wolf in a fight to the death 10/10 times. Check it out on "All experts-interspecies conflict"
This is ridiculous...the description and some of you idiots replying...
wolf had the wolverine down the entire time inb the submissive position. and the wolf can be twice as big....the wolf would win the vast majority of fights...
you guys are dumb the wolf had the wolverine on the ground the whole time. Wolves vs wolverine the wolverine would be good fight but the wolf would win for sure.
@TimmyGal felt bad for the wolf? what about all the animals that wolves kill by choking them out or eating them while their still alive? ever think about that?
well the wolverine had a few shallow scratches on the wolf..big deal, the wolf is bigger and has huge jaws compared to the wolverines...it would have been able to beat it.....and read about wolverine, wolf encounters too....
@AceofDlamonds Like I told you before dude, you're arguing with the wrong person. The person who posted this is the one you should be bitching at. Not me. :P
There are no recorded events where a wolf has been killed by a wolverine.....but wolves have, in turn, killed wolverines.....although rare since wolverines are tough.
@kaytolover3 The wolverine or gulo is the largest land member of the mustelid family, the family consisting of weasels, mink, martens, fishers, stoats, ermine, tayra, polecats, badgers, ferrets and otters. Pound for pound, the animal is supposed to be the strongest animal on the planet.
Uh, it's not like the wolf still wasn't fighting for his life. If the wolverine had grabbed ahold of the wolve's neck, it would have been game. End of story. Wolverines have been reported killing polar bears by latching onto their necks and suffocating them, the wolf would have been the same.
come on wolf fans..this is clearly a victory for the much smaller weasel.dont be mad.the wolf did its best.but just could nt hang with the toughest animal on the planet.
At the end of the fight, only the wolf walked away uncrippled. As the wolf walked away, the wolverine it dropped lay trembling with convulsions and then just lay flattened and unable to get up. Since it was clearly over, we then got switched here to a second film of a wolverine that had it's health intact. The one that fought the wolf did not register the biting power that had been registered against it.
that wolverine kicked that wolfs ass.the next time someone calls you a weasel,look at them and say thank you...its a compliment...look at that weasel mess that canine up.
@attacia83 It's obviously a wolverine, it looks nothing like a honey badger. Honey badgers are typically white/cream on top with a black underbelly. This animal has the characteristic markings of a wolverine.
There are many who hate this wolf because, by shaking the wolverine's face left and right, he dropped it to the ground and left it for dead. They hate him so bad that they switched the film here from this wolverine that had fallen to another wolverine that was running through the snow. Even when a wolf CHOOSES to run, he will break the hold of a wolverine that catches him. He bites harder.
You see the Wolf all bloody and runs off, the Wolverine, goes out for lunch after working up a little appetite.. You don't want to mess with a Wolverine.. Even bears run as was said..
the wolf was on top the whole time,but the wolverine landed some good shots on bottom, the wolverine just would not give up though, I guess he has more heart. I think when food is in the picture the wolverine gets meaner than the wolf would.
yeah, I have heard of them standing their ground on bears but never heard them actually attacking one, because they are just way too darn small. but pound for pound they, are the toughest meanest animal when pissed off.
pfft, the wolverine didn't win. as seereeuss said, there were two clips here. the wolf won the fight, but neither party died. thankfully, too; both of these awesome creatures are an endangered species.
It appears that 3 simple offensive scorings from the hard-biting wolf are what took a toll on the wolverine in the end making him unable to rise and walk away as could the wolf. Defensively, the wolverine did a great job of tying the wolf up and holding on for it's life. But there was absolutely no life-threatening damage scored there!! This wolf will not die of a sore nose.
3 SCORINGS FLATTENED THE WOLVERINE: (1) Early the wolf pinned the wolverine several times with an attack to the throat and forced it's attempt to escape. (2) In the middle, he scored to the tongue. And (3) he ended the fight by powerfully jerking the wolverine's face left and right to drop it. The wolverine did not rise after that. A 2nd film of a wolverine digging out a SNOW-COVERED carcass was added on. But this fight could not have been over it because no snow was falling DURING the fight !!
I did not see the wolf leave the fight from any exhaustion. He ended the fight when he finally jerked the wolverine's face left & right with powerful motions. I saw the move drop the wolverine to the ground never to rise again. At that point, all filming of these two particular animals was called off. Next here, though, I saw a second film of an uninjured wolverine running and eating. No one of us saw the wolverine that the wolf dropped in film 1 rise and go anywhere. Only the wolf was able to.
the wolf got tired he has never met a fight like a wolverine. wolverines face bears, if they do that of course they will fight a over grown dog. and the wolverine is smaller and still tired out a full size wolf.
It's a Michael Jackson type of addictive thing. I've been told that when I comment, I often stay at the top of this chart for weeks and even months. Anyway, the wolf bit harder than the wolverine. And that is why the first film of these two combined films ended with a wolverine unable to get up and walk. Man, this gives me a rush!
As the wolverine lay flattened and disabled by the wolf 's superior biting power, it began gasping to breathe, it 's body began to tremble with violent convulsions and the camera switch was flipped off to wrap up film 1 of these two films. Absolutely NO sight of the wolverine in the fight rising to it 's feet again was seen.
The wolverine in film number 1 of these two films could not walk at all after fighting a wolf who left it laying flat, trembling and likely dying. None of us saw the wolverine in that film get up and run as the wolverine in film 2 did. It was plain to see that the camera was immediately turned off after the fight in film 1. And the fallen wolverine surely could not eat after such bite-damage to it's tongue. How could so many unthinking people be fooled into "IMAGINING" that it could ? Amazing.
from what i seen that wolverine had enough power to flip that wolf on its back . wolverines are great fighters on their back . lol @ the wolverine was left laying there . do some research on wolverines they usually fight on their back . he was waiting there to see if the wolf was done yet with fighting then he flipped back over at the end . if you also view the wolverine taking on that wolfe pack he jumped in the air and flipped on his back another sign they like to fight on their back .rine won
At the end of the fight in footage 1 of this collection of two films ONLY THE WOLF was able to stand on it's legs and walk away. So the fight result itself shows that the wolf must have bitten harder - whether it was early in the fight or later. As film 1 ended the wolverine was off of it's feet gasping, trembling and likely dying.
There is only really 2 animals i hate , monkeys and wolverines, if i did hunt i would kill em all.

ITS SIMILAR WHEN A MALE LEOPARD FIGHTS AGAINST A FEMALE LION FOR A PREY , THE FEMALE LION IS STRONGER BUT SHE GETS TIRED BECAUSE THE MALE LEOPARD CAN GIVE SOME GOOD FIGHT....
user2011rb 8 months ago

Only the wolf was able to walk away.

aedelbrock88 1 year ago
the wolverine did not fuckin win. If you stop an mma fight after a few punches this is what it is like..idk if you can call that a "win". Now make em fight to the death or serious injury an you got some serious disadvantage against the wolverine. Wolf is too big and with a hard bite.
The wolf was backing off after a few bites and scratches...badass? yes, a landslide victory? no.

rawjokes 11 months ago
@AceofDlamonds In the arctic snow, food is not easy to come by. Walking away from food is virtually committing suicide for a predator. That wolf believed he would die if the fight had continued, otherwise he never would have walked away from a meal. The wolverine, on the other hand, never had a doubt who would win; one lone wolf is not is his league. Only a large bear can challenge a wolverine. In that case the outcome is uncertain, but the wolverine will never back down.
gortokennyg 10 months ago 3
@gortokennyg
don't give me that bullshit.
AceofDlamonds 10 months ago 12
@AceofDlamonds uninterested lol? What is this, some kind of cage fight? When two wild animals engage in a fight especially of different species, it's usually to inflict fatal damage, or to the death. The wolverine clamped down on the wolves mouth and was scratching its underbelly with its hind claws. I'm sorry, but the wolf was taking more damage than it can handle, and in the wild, a fatal injury can mean DEATH.
YT wont let me link just google wolverine fights off wolves. tons of reports.
Jamzkangster 9 months ago
@Jamzkangster

SeanOMatic 7 months ago
@SeanOMatic
actually, there is evidence that wolverines and honey badgers regularly die from larger predators attacking them out of defense of young or curiosity. In CARNIVORA there are cases of dead wolverines from single or small groups of wolves(usually only the alpha male or a 'co-captain' attacks).....without much of a battle. Truth is, the largest wolverine confirmed was around 45-48 lbs. The largest wolf? 190.
AceofDlamonds 6 months ago
@AceofDlamonds The wolverine won, did you watch the video? everything your saying is bullshit.
WarBob56565 7 months ago
@WarBob56565
Are you fucking kidding me. The video just proves wolverines can defend themselves. Nowhere did the wolf get seriously injured the wolverine has the strength of DEFENSE. Nothing I said above is blatantly wrong unless you can back it with statistics.
AceofDlamonds 6 months ago
@AceofDlamonds He won the fight, the wolf walked away, the wolverine proved he was dominant.
WarBob56565 6 months ago
@WarBob56565
wolverine was able to defend himself....like a kid being picked on forcing a bully off of him. If the wolverine was the aggressor against a wolf 3 times heavier than he, he'd be pretty shaken up.
AceofDlamonds 6 months ago
@AceofDlamonds But wouldn't that situation make the wolf look like a little boy forcing the bully away? In my eyes I saw the wolverine use superior fighting skills and courage to defeat the larger wolf. Possible madness and crazy thinking, but the wolverine won. Not by kill, but by submission.
WarBob56565 6 months ago
@WarBob56565
AceofDlamonds 6 months ago
@AceofDlamonds The terrain would make no difference, he would use that BJJ no matter where there fighting, its how they fight, and the wolf will submit every time. How is that not dominant.
WarBob56565 6 months ago
@WarBob56565
well according to separate wild reports, single wolves have killed wolverines without much struggle.
AceofDlamonds 6 months ago
@AceofDlamonds Wow its amazing how retarded you are, no their not "self defense" when it comes to larger predators, their HIGHLY territorial and there is atleast once documented account of a Wolverine taking down a Grizzly. I call those supposed "wild reports" you're referncing to as bullshit since all the video's and reports i've seen, not a single time was a lone wolf able to take down a wolverine.
bud389 6 months ago
@bud389
retarted? you're the one claiming a wolverine took down a full grown grizzly.
AceofDlamonds 6 months ago
@AceofDlamonds The wolverine is far more powerful then the wolf and has claws along with it's large fangs. And yes, it's a FACT that wolverines have (i dont know how often) taken down grizzly's, probably rarely but they still have (tearing neck/spinal area apart most likely). There's also an account of a wolverine trying to steal a kill from a black bear but wolverine was killed, although a wolverine of similar size was recorded doing that to a polar bear and came out the victor. So shut it.
bud389 6 months ago
@AceofDlamonds
690169 5 months ago
@WarBob56565 In the fight film the wolverine was left unable to rise by the wolf after combat over a carcass. No snow was on that edited-out carcass which had once been at this fim's beginning. And no snow fell during this fight which ended with the wolverine lying in place trembling with convulsions. After the wolverine submitted and dropped to the ground, the wolf circled it with it's tail dominantly up and then walked on. So a 2nd film of a healthy wolverine eating a snow-cover carcass began
seereeuss 6 months ago 7
@seereeuss ur so stupid..... the wolverine own the wolf plz understand that... in the end the wolf had a big ass hole in its nose..
l2pknsmfd 6 months ago
@l2pknsmfd The blood spot on the wolf's cheek is actually from the wolverine's mouth. If you study the fight, you will note that in the middle of it the wolf scored biting to the wolverine's tongue. To open the fight, the wolf scored bites to the wolverine's throat. To end the fight, the wolf powerfully shook the wolverine's face left and right and dropped it to the ground. The wolverine lay trembling in place and could not rise after that. Only the wolf could walk away. A 2nd film then began.
seereeuss 6 months ago
@seereeuss but in the the fight u can see the wolf back up while being bitten in the nose.. and at the end u can clearly see the wolf has a hole in its nose.
l2pknsmfd 5 months ago
@l2pknsmfd ive been trying to tell everyone that but they just dont listen... the wolverine won they just cant admit it
l2pknsmfd 5 months ago
@AceofDlamonds Well then those are some pretty fucking stupid experts since body size and strength has nothing to do with winning a fight, they certainly help, but guess what, animals many times smaller and weaker then their prey/attackers successfully defend themselves/kill prey larger then themselves, thousands of times all around the world each day. Fact: Wolverines have successfully fought off bears, the bear running away means that the wolverine has won the fight. To the death? Depends.

@AceofDlamonds
So you're wrong!
michaelsterling28 1 week ago
@michaelsterling28
Ungulates are rigid herbivores...not a good comparison; Moose died during deep snow cover. continued..
AceofDlamonds 6 days ago
@michaelsterling28
continued....

Even when a wolf CHOOSES to run, he will break the hold of a wolverine that catches him. He bites harder.

This wolf will not die of a sore nose.
seereeuss 2 years ago

Only the wolf was able to.
seereeuss 2 years ago
the wolf got tired he has never met a fight like a wolverine. wolverines face bears, if they do that of course they will fight a over grown dog. and the wolverine is smaller and still tired out a full size wolf.
