Remember when Therion didn't sound like all those power metal bands on Nuclear Blast records with female vocalists, like Nightwish, Sirenia, and the like? Yeah, they were cool then, and closer to the spirit of classical in that their music was narrative in structure (no verse-chorus), powerful, and riffs built on the context of other riffs.

@neuraxianfusion  It's actually very sad what's happening to those metal bands now ...I liked Therion even on Gothic Kabbalah but the last album was just...holy fuck what the hell!!! But their older albums were so much better I like them as death metal and operatic they were great both ways!!!

@durane42 I think they used up all ideas,personally this new album is boring,songs aren't the same quality as they used to be...they went in another direction on Gothic Kabbalah and it was good now they tried to reinvent some old ideas but it just didn't go well...for example compare Sitra Ahra to idk Secret of the runes...but then again it's not really that bad...some other bands made awful new albums lol but I mean really awful XD

I think, the best Therion albums are Lepaca Kliffoth and Theli. I don't like very much the new Therion. The original band was more powerful...
