You're talking about something I am very interested in. I read Abandoned Prayers, and it was tragic. Only reason, I can think of for people disliking your video, is your slow manner of talking. I've watched other of your videos also. To be honest, all those gaps and Uugh...'s they can be hard to listen to .Keep doing your videos. I really appreciate it. But try to speed up:)

I am from the town of Chester, Nebraska where the boy was found. I was five years old when Daniel Stutzman was found. The town named him Matthew meaning "gift from god. We still leave toys for him on his grave that us located outside of town.

Thanks for further insight into a world I know very lttle of. I read 'Little boy blue" a few years ago and was saddend of it's all around content. Clearly demons were chasing Eli for him to have conducted himself in this fashion. Who in their right mind would do these things and then to continue on for many years later, as if nothing was wrong with his picture of things. Was there ever a movie made of this tragedy? Thanks!!

@sucraman2 Are you talking about the book "Abandoned Prayers"? "little boy blue" was the title of an article in Reader's Digest about the boy being found, which led to finding the father, and the charge of abandoning a dead body... (Not murder, he only got a murder charge for his gay ex-lover)

I am not aware of a movie being made, but it could be one from what I understand. It is pretty twisted story at the vary least.

@mrdeleted Yes, I am speaking of the book it's self. I recall seeing the article in readers digest years ago but had forgotten this tragedy. Until I bought the book in a used book store in Saskatoon, Canada, just a few years ago. Thanks for the shout back.

I'm originally from Lawrence county in the Western part of the State. Never had any reason to believe how you describe the Amish here is true. Seemed very sweet, and like every group of humans on the planet, there was a mix of bad folks, too. But on the whole, they seamed decent.

I agree with you reyoshi. The problems with child abuse are mostly in the Swartzentrubers, and these cases of killings are rather rare. Ofcourse killing people is the same as the coverup that went on in this case.
