Geologists do NOT say the Scablands were created in a matter of hours by ONE flood recently. They were formed from the Missoula Floods which occured about 40 times over a 2000yr period starting around 15,000 yrs ago. That's what geologists say.And that's just for the Scablands,not the entirety of Grand Coulee. The way the canyon meanders is evidence of erosion over a very long period of time, along with the sedimentary layers of rock in the canyon walls which are formed through the settling and gradual pressure of materials over time. Independent measures of cosmological time all follow a similar pattern, making the notion of creation unscientific. Since you cannot explain away the evidence against your position, it remains unintelligible.

Perhaps you could explain away the spectroscopic measurements that show the 4.57bn age of the sun, the cosmological markers that indicate a very old universe, the timescales in which we see solar systems being formed, the radioactive isotopes that indicate the long-standing decay of particular elements, tree rings, the gradualism in the fossil record, oh and the sedimentary layers which make up the canyon 'cliffs'.

They are not interpretations, projections of cosmological time are mathematically inferred from the measurements obtained through scientific experiment. They are as much as an interpretation as 'interpreting' gravity and to all them such shows you have no grasp of astro-physics or the scientific method.

I don't see why the sheer cliffs are a problem, or help explain your vague notion that 'catastrophic water flow' could produce it.
