Alanis Morissette was my favorite in '95 and remains my favorite to this day... her albums may not sell millions anymore but hey she is one of the only artists I know who can tour without releasing an album... God bless Alanis and everything she does... thank you for the uploads of this concert!!! Love
I love the darkness in the song. What is really special is that the song is melodic and the darkness just creeps under your skin very easily without you noticing it. And all of a sudden it is there. Really unexpected, but Alanis is THE DARK QUEEN. BOW!
Much of what music is artistically speaking, is lost during mastering. It has happened that crappy bands make a hit all because of ingenious mixing/mastering. Sometimes it´s the opposite with amazing singers and bands, they sound way better live, simply because of todays CDs and digital media. They suffer from frequency and dynamic range limitations, it would take 12 CDs per song to acurately acommodate all that analog sound. Alanis, like other bands, will always sound better live.
Hey, has anyone heard her unplugged version of this song? It's on the album "The Art of Peace: Songs for Tibet". I just bought it on iTunes. It's freaking AMAZING!!!
Saw her live in Atlanta 10/15 - Versions of Violence and Moratorium were amazing live. Her propeller dance was awesome, too. I recommend everyone listen to "Break" immediately.
Does anyone else think that Alanis looks younger now

@ah66able It's not that she looks younger it's just that she started wearing make-up and fixing her hair. In anycase i think she is gorgeous.
