Let's look at what actually happened. Man is complaining about what makes him sad. What most therapists would do: Ask him more questions and get him to dwell on it some more. What this therapist did: Immediately started talking about solutions. That's not a terrible therapist. That's the perfect therapist. You don't take your car to a mechanic to dwell on it's problems. You take it to him to get them fixed. Why should therapists be any different?

That "therapist" is a poor excuse in that profession. Overly aggressive people are the worst kind and are far worse than those who are lazy or plain incompetent . Furthermore, it bothers me to see supposed professionals blow up and throw things at their patients who could be quite sensitive. If this were an actual therapist, I'd revoke his license and arrest him.
