Nobody noticed but the 1st music that's been used for this movie is definitely coming from Resident Evil. l've played the games so much, l know all there is to know about them. Geek to the end...

@Heroinedown sorry but it wasn't, the music piece was an original by a music student from college there were two of her pieces which were blended together and then slowed down or speeded up, can't remember which...but all the music in this was original :)

@tahiratina l guarantee you it's been used in Resident Evil. Listen carefully from 0:09 to 0:18, it's very short but there's exactly the same part in RE (with the voices and all). lf l had to bet who copied who, l'd place my money on that student from college...

@Heroinedown I was there when the music was played live on piano then recorded, I even mixed the two pieces and changed it to make it a bit spooky, the original two sounds were very different to what I needed so I had to overlap them and change the speed to make it sound like what I was after, maybe it sounds like it, but it definitely was not taken from there, everything I used was original..the voice part I think your hearing was also added in from another section...

Editing was decent for youtube, but still a bit choppy. You also went heavy on jump scares, which are cheap in real horror films. You could be watching Spongebob and if a freaky face suddenly popped on screen you'd jump. This isn't horror. You need to build anticipation and mystery for more effective horror. People expecting something to jump out of the shadows doesn't cut it.

the part where the car breaks down i dont know if this is spam i dont think it is my car broke down in the middle of butt fuck nowhere and this guy comes from nowere and he has a fucking mask on and if it was just me i would have ran but me a 2 friends where in there so he kicks me window open when me and my friends were looking for what was wrong then he was running away for some reason

Why so serious, it was a college project and was supposed to be done over 3 months with 1 camera, I also had 2 kids and a job, so not as easy as an average student working on a project, and has alot more time on their hands, you do the best with what you have...your opinion makes no difference because it was shortlisted in some big film festivals in the UK and Internationally and I achieved triple honors in the end...so I think that speaks for itself...

Thanks. There was a 10 minute version with talking, but it just didn't seem to have the same effect as the edited version which was needed for film festivals.

Thanks..it took 3 months from conception (scripting, storyboarding etc...) to completion, and it was my first short as part of a final project at college. It had to be done within that time frame for college.
