Hi if I were you I would definitely think about investing in a copy of this movie for your collection. It had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. I watch it over and over and it never loses it's excitment for me. I take my hat off to Chen Kaige as a Producer.

this movie was a bit disappointing. I don't think it lived up to the massive hype. It wasn't as bad as the critics made it out to be, but it still could have been better.

Definitely one of the goose eggs laid by Chen Kaige, a very good director
