heres a tip mate dont use dead bait for perch have one rod on a 3 ounce weight with a lobworm and the other on float with maggots hope i helped

@theSpikes99 hi mate, went to fosdyke today at lincoln pike fishing, only had 2 small jacks on dead baits,but my brother in law was perch fishing with the quiver tip with lob worm with a 9 gram bomb thats all you need lighter the better, he had a good bag of perch all over 12oz, the biggest was a 3lb 4oz beast it was huge, ive read the record has just been beaten at just over 6lb what a fish

ive never seen anyone fishing with bite alarms for small perch, whats wrong with watching the quiver tip or float? in my opinion alarms are for lazy fisherman or fisherman with no skill, unless carping or fishing for barbel

Just been to Lake Alwen, Wales. Had never caught 1 of these in my life ended up with 5 (biggest 1/2 lb) and a rainbow 1/2 lb lol . Awesome fish look nice

Great fishing. I personally wouldn't use a bite alarm for perch. I find a light quiver tip works very nicely for perch as in the video I noticed the rod was shaking much before the alarm went off. I guess it's just personal reference.

Try fish eye's for PERCH FISHING go to your local fish monger and buy some macreal or what ever bait ,take the eyes for the perch' and the rest for dead baiting for pike

Great session looked like fun, how are you hooking the gudgeon? I fish as stretch of the Avon thats full of them so I'm thinking this would be a good way of attracting the bigger ones..
