The recording of this production of Fledermaus cheered the last months of my father's life so much. He was specially in love with Edita..! So I will always have a special affection for it, and it's great to see it on video for the first time.

Your father had excellent taste. This is an exceptional performance; everyone in it is phenomenal. And Edita Gruberova is so charming you half expect Orlofsky to propose to her at the end.

Best Adele! Everything so clean, and she's got the guts to change the notes from the composer, which is smart!

Well I just don't know why some sopranos make their weird ambulance-like vibrato at some stupid points... and Bruberova just know when to stop and when to sing longer!

Btw I like the C# she changed instead of D (supposed to be the first D in this song)
