@johnafer haha shows how much you know. Less people die from cocaine or crack a year, then one month of alcohol related deaths. Crack and cocaine arnt as deadly as alcohol, a lot of deaths are usually from a mixture of drugs. But Cocaine is way safer then alcohol. It doesnt make you dumb or slowed down, it hightins your senses , even smell. But there is risk to overdose, but you can overdose on a lot of legal things. Cocaine is also very natural , and has medical benefits.

@johnafer i am sure that if Alcohol was illegal the dangers of using the drug would increase significantly due to contamination, regulation etc. also the amount of under 18's using it would increase as it would be much easier to purchase on the black market.

Even crack and cocaine however bad they are, should not be illegal. Making drugs illegal simply means we are handing over multimillion pound industry to criminals, terrorists and who knows. Sensible thing to do is to regulate all drugs.

@johnafer Just to add that the Mcat issue was a total farce, they failed to document the use of other illicit/legal drugs which contributed to those deaths and they also fail to realise that banning one substance simply means that a new one will come on to the marketplace and the old Mcat will be sold on the black market. Banning something does not solve the problem it drives it underground and causes more problems in our communities. The whole drugs policy/laws is out dated and unenforceable.
