I remember on Ocarina of Time, on my first play-through I didn't realise that you had to get the Zora Tunic and I beat the temple just in my Kokiri Tunic. Of course, I had done some side-quests to get more hearts.

It was rather hard. Then, I realised that you could get the Zora Tunic.

Mind you, I was like 9.

sorry for the misunderstanding here. I was replying to a post by pixil8z who said that he beat the water temple in OCARINA OF TIME without getting the water tunic but since you have to unfreeze the zora king before even entering the water temple you get the tunic from him.

no, it's possible without a zora tunic. I've done it twice myself actually, just watch LogitechSDAZ's videos (Search Morpheel with no Zora Armor). He discovered a glitch with water bombs that replenishes your air, and P0tter himself was the first to do it, though his method is really hard to do.

No, the point is to be able to beat Morpheel without having the Zora Armor to begin with... as in, so we wouldn't be stuck at Morpheel if we managed to get that far without it. But it really doesn't matter, because Morpheel's opening cutscene replenishes your air supply anyway.
