I love how everytime I see a video with a "dirty south" beat in it, it sounds nothin like a dirty south beat

@vtownhood Maybe you need to widen your idea of what a dirty south beat is. This beat has 808 kicks, 808 snare rolls, brass, "crunk" sounding saw and a sine whistle. All very common sounds in certain kinds of dirty south songs. Perhaps this is more of a slow crunk beat, but crunk is a dirty south genre

Question about your technique. For example the kick VOL envelope,... why is the sustain loop end like 7 - 8 steps over and straight over? When I see that I am thinking nothing is happening there,... but you do it a lot with your sounds. What is it's purpose? Thanks.

@bigsavageproductionz I'd say Sytrus is the best stock Generator for making whatever you want lol. It's the only synth I use, and yeah I mostly make all my own sounds.

go to the mixer and go to this effect called synthmaker , there is five 5 presets and go to reflect

@Cennsational If you're refering to what I did with the snare roll, I used note panning in the piano roll. Alternate sides at 100% panned to get the real "bouncy" feel
