@bobbybrady8 I agree it's not the best song Ok Go have ever done, but it's not that bad. Perhaps you should give it a chance. And i doubt they're using it for the new movie, there's a full album of songs originally sang by the Muppets being covered by artists.

It is trippy and psychedelic. This song would be on a good horror album (maybe the new natural born killers remake, that is not happening as far as i know) and it could have this song and Sonic Youths cover of Superstar. Go listen to Sonic Youths Superstar and see if you catch my drift.

Something that my teenagers AND i can get into! As the song played on, i found myself going from a scrutinizing, serious look to the widest smile i've displayed in months...if you don't smile when you listen to this, you're either dead or completely out of touch!

See here's the thing, it's A TRIBUTE....it's not meant to EXACTLY recreate the songs as they were first heard. It's like that tribute to the Saturday Morning Cartoons or the one for the Schoolhouse Rock! set.
I like this, it's fun. I mean its definitely in a different style, but i mean these guys obviously are muppet fans, and are having fun with the recording, and to in my opinion they aren't murdering anything then
@danwoodier Musical taste isn't about being right or wrong. All music is subjective. To be perfectly honest, you need to grow up a little and realise that not everyone has the same musical taste as you.
@DanielD2513 I do understand that people have different music taste, however this song is only appealing to a very select audience of people who actually enjoy this genre, that aside; all the children that will be new to the concept of the muppets would be subdued to this, the original shouldn't have been tampered with or 'replaced' due to it's quirky resemblance to the muppets, people always make the argument on how music can capture emotions or personalities, that doesn't work here.

And personally, I think it's good that it's been reinvented as such! Nothing can beat the original though! That's a fact. And again, it's not up to you to state that outright. All people percept music differently...leave it up to them to decide.
@DanielD2513 Maybe it's just me, but I don't think the Muppets really are for kids. Yes, kids like the Muppets, but the intended audience isn't kids. Or rather, it wasn't at one time. There are a lot of jokes from the TV show that kids wouldn't understand at all.
Horrible. Muppets should be a LOT happier sounding.
