@RL539 Norway may not be in the union but they are in the EEA and they also adopt the majority of the EU policies. They are also apart of Shengen, the Nordic Council and the Council of Baltic Sea States so in practise they are pretty much an EU country. They are also included in the EU's northen dimension programme.

The EU doesnt carry out peacekeeping, so its not really good at that thing, the UN would stop anyy wars from happening, we dont need the EU to have peace. They are also apart of Shengen, the Nordic Council and the Council of Baltic Sea States so in practise they are pretty much an EU country. All muslims I know smoke weed, drink alcohol, date etcetc.. Gay rights are developing in Morocco as we speak.. The whole strategy of the EU, which makes it so succesful, that it quietly reforms whole systems all over the world.. I am not saying we should turn a blind eye, but get a stronger policy and everything will be okay :D

@jetfighters20fr Its actually quite naive to think 500 million people or more will turn muslim, just because there are some people who convert in this hectic society... We still do not aprove of religion, wife beating, gay hating and the list goes on.. People mistake our weak for our strong.. Again, policy clearly must change and already has and is, but there's no reason to be scared.. This only means you don't know your own culture and its strength..

the european union's dream has similarities with the united states in the fact that different states can be part of one government, the biggest two differences are that the united states is one country in itself, and that it just wasn't creative enough to call it anything differently....I wonder if a US state could be called united towns of vermont??

@MattHXIV they will never teach it as a first language but it is still the main Language for them to learn in schools. I think the UK's government should do the same with their languages. We are just not given enough experience of other languages.

different languages were used to divide empires, after to help people don't understand each other for war, nowadays different languages are an economic matter to stole our moneys and to split nations and to evitate immigration, I hope 100% of EU do speak english, I am Portuguese but i know english is easier grammatically(one of the easiest) and less confusing than my language...
Observation: today around 50% of the EU do speak english ...

aggreed, i can see a europe as whole, having English language as the maine language to communicate with cultures in EU that have kept their language in honor of our settlers, to show your unique, its a satisfactional feeling.
but it it is double satisfaction when we will implement english fully into our generations, all countries teach children English, but it will take a couple of generations to reach this level.

@DragonBaine Really? That's why Britain doesn't want anything to do with the EU. All we wish for in Britain is honour, power and pride. The only countries which benefit from the EU are Germany & Belgium, look what you've already done to Ireland and Greece! I'm happy my country is staying Sterling.
All of Europe should be separate, and keep their own languages alive. The same goes for Normandy, the Bretons, Cornish, Welsh, Scots, Irish as well, and England should remove French words from UK Eng.

THE big idea of EU is... france falls, rest of countries in the vicinity will fall, including britaine, might as well fall together and try together.
how can we trade between spaine and holland if france is enemy in between, we are all connected economicly together with USA, USA falls britaine first to die off.

@DragonBaine Britain, not Britaine. Firstly without the USA Britain is a country that isn't in every single war zone, we can easily have trade links with Europe & Commonwealth countries and we've already got resources, don't see how you come into this.
Who says Europe would be enemies? The EU is a trade union, not a military one, France and Britain are sharing an aircraft carrier so your points are invalid. NATO is a military union and the UN is a security council as well. France & UK are perm.
