  • That my friend is not a Janda Sit up. There is nothing pulling your legs away from you making your legs weightless. That is the point of the Janda to shut off your hip flexers so you actually focus on the abs. Also your feet should stay on the ground.

  • um, i guess ill say it, thats not a janda situp.

  • Cardio is the key to loosing fat. Someone smarter than me once told me that you don't start burning fat until after 20 minutes of exercise, so always do your cardio after your other workout. In intense kettlebell workout can be a good cardio / strength combo workout.

  • why the intense breathing?

  • @SwayzeDre the lower abdominals and glutes should be engage, as well as hamstrings and calfs

  • @hellomynameis151 Yeah ive been doing this for about a week and my stomach is much harder but i cant seem to lose this extra layer of fat. I have a 4 pack lol. you know how to burn that lower belly fat fast?

  • @SwayzeDre Run.

  • @SwayzeDre CHANGE YOUR DIET and DO MORE CARDIO! That is the only thing that will truly kill the fat. lessen your intake of CARBS (sugars and starches -- sweets, breads, pastas, rice, potatoes). Do not get rid of all carbs -- look for healthy carbs and the occasional "dirty carb" is OK for diet rotation simply "cut back" and increase proteins (chicken, turkey, beef, tuna, salmon) and increase "greens" spinach, kale, cabbage, veggies, etc. THIS IS HOW TO LEAN OUT. As far as "running..."

  • @SwayzeDre Running as TobyLee87 points out is always great! But, if you are like me and have suffered certain leg injuries that have "weakened" your kneecaps -- POWER WALKING is low impact and just as "effective" as running in producing weight loss. For fact, in some instances power walking the tred will produce even more amazing results than running. Why? The low-impact of walking cause you to really use the full dynamic of your entire body in a more strategic and methodical manner.

  • @SwayzeDre Running I find is great to get your heart-rate up (that produces weight loss) but when you are running your body is not as "concentrated" or "targeted" on key problem areas. This is where power-walking can produce your best results for weight loss, but also "toning" the body. My belly was getting HUGE after I took a year off from exercising. Since starting back just a few months ago (late July 2011) already 2/3 of my belly fat has diminished and I am getting my "definition" back.

  • @SwayzeDre Why? I went back to what WORKS. Dropped the "nonsense" in my diet (i.e, "beer, juices, cookies, candy, cakes, chips, pizza") and increased "good sense" (i.e., proteins, veggies, low-carb sweets, whole-grain cereals, water and wine" -- YES, WINE! :) For those who like a bit of an "adult drink" with dinner -- skip the beer and sub it with wine -- it works.) I know the "purists" will say but wine is "sweet and a carb." Yes, it is, but wine has a very good value of enzymes & benefit

  • @SwayzeDre And, wine for some reason (in my personal experience) seems to help me curb my dinner, digest my food better and does not give that "bloated, heavy" feeling you get when you are knocking back beers (even "lite" beers). Wine has always produced a "leaning effect" on my body. NOW USE MODERATION WITH WINE AS WITH ALL THINGS. Back to Power Walking: It helps TARGET problem areas depending on how you "form" and "posture" your body when you Power Walk. EXAMPLE...

  • @SwayzeDre When I Power Walk on the treadmill, I walk carefully, but "intentionally" with arms up in a "bow" formation (elbows bent and out), swinging my fists just above the breast area. This "formation" and "posture" allows your torso to naturally and safely "twist" as you walk. This "natural twist of the torso" allows your obliques ("love-handles" or "muffin-top" muscles -- the sides of your abdomen) to be targeted with deep concentration -- something that a run cannot effectively achieve.

  • @SwayzeDre Lean obliques actually encourage the "lower belly fat" to disappear, thus encouraging your desired "six pack." Notice anybody with "love handles/muffin tops" they also have a little "pouch" that ridiculous "lower belly fat." Notice anybody without "handles/tops" you will also notice absent is that "pouch." I notice that as soon as my "handle-tops" start to shrink (as they are doing now) so goes that infamous "pouch." The pouch "shrinks" right along with them! GO POWER-WALKING!

  • @LPATWILLFILM thanks a lot! its been a year and ive been back and forth 182 lbs to 191 lbs. i'll try power-walking. what do you eat though? i'm kind of addicted to carbohydrates and i think that's why i can't get that toned definition

  • @SwayzeDre CHECK YOUR INBOX... JUST SENT IT TO YOU YOU MY FRIEND :)

  • @LPATWILLFILM i didnt see that you wrote all that the first time. dude, thanks so much for the tips. are you a personal trainer? you seem to know about this very good. THANKS again
