i got it. if you still have buildgh3 in the zipup folder, delete buildgh3 in your C: drive. then when you extract buildgh3 extract it directly to the GUI folder and it works.

@buzzgum123 how did you pack your .iso file if you just packed the files with dvd decryptor then it will do that but if you pack it with cddvdgen it will work fine (I found this out the hard way)

Probably, depends on where you went. But the ammount of mp3s/soundfiles and .chart's you have in the folder depends on how many songs you actually did put there.

he also helped me out a lot as i cunt get my disk to work and this helped me do it so fuck you you retard and learn to read and listen on tutorials and maybe ull learn a bit every now+then

Ok. There is a way to fix this. Download a program called Audacity(google it). Go to FILE and select open. Open the 0 channel mp3 that has the error. Then go to project and select import audio and import the same mp3 again. Now, go to file and select export as ogg. Replace the old mp3 with this new ogg to fix your problem. THere you go.

Ummm found a shortcut, you can copy all the music across to that output folder first, then use minibuildgh3 which overwrites the files as needed, no need to manually copy em later.

I'll comfirm that 100% when i've played the created game, but it seems to have worked

as for the Unknown format of song file that would indicate the mp3 was not a valid mp3 or maybe you made it too high a quality, GH requires 128kbps no higher I think.

How did u make the mp3? and conversly did you label the chart and mp3's the same

ie b_02_jackass.mp3 with b_02_jackass.chart?

also i believe the /'s you put in that command line should be \'s but I don't think that wouldn't have made that error.

hey man ive been trying for at least a month and wasted at least 10 dvd's and still cant get it to work. i had a problem first with the CMD

gave me some error messages about not being able to split the files

so i deleted the files and then it passed that point

the only thing i cant seem to make work is the dvd even with the other method by LOLMASTER(check profile) which is even longer i cant do it

no, you will need a modded ps2. A cogswap should work. Swap Magic or HDD are confirmed. I don't know about a chip.

there is no error message feedback just closes or plays the chart without any music sometimes. i try to decode and recode the song at different bitrates and it still doesnt work.

ok well i made two succesful custom guitar hero discs. i have a question to ask but before i do that i would like to thank you for putting forth all this time and effort just so others can enjoy custom songs as well. i really enjoy playing now that i broke my leg theres nothing else to do, but i only encounter one problem with feedback. i load chart and midi files fine, its just these two chart files i cant seem to get working. they can't load into feedback, is there any reason why?

ok i SWEAR this is the last thing. i am replacing avalacha with crazy train. i have done every single thing in your tutorial except at the very last thing. the dvd decrypter isnt burning the iso to the dvd-r. every time i open the iso as the source file, it defaults to drive E as the destination (which is my dvd-rw write drive)but then it wont let me click decrypt. i dont think its recognizing the dvd-r. PLEASE HELP!

there are some songs that feedback doesnt let me use. i load the chart, and then i go to chart settings to select the song and the very moment i hit enter the program encounters an error and needs to close. it lets me use almost all my songs, i only get this problem with 4 of the songs i want to use, out of 17.
