For some reason I believe it was Meg and Dusty..the first Meg..Jennifer Ashe, I think was her name. I believe it was some fantasy/dream she was having about Dusty,...of course you could probably tell that, lol.
That person who was lit on fire is Lisa Grimaldi who at that time was married to Grant Colman. I believe the person who lit Lisa's skirt on fire was Grant's jealous ex-wife, Joyce Colman.
rickram1961 -- Joyce Hughes (now married to Bob's brother) was one of the first characters from this show that completely cracked me up. She was crazy but soooooo much fun. She and Lisa were always at odds because Lisa knew Joyce was a real bitch at heart - no one else did. I remember when Joyce was going to shoot her husband Don and just tell the authorities she thought someone was breaking into the house. It backfired, and Don was only crippled and SHE had to take care of him. 1978-79
Now i see those are three totally different storyline. The panther is involved with Duncan and Lilith Mckechnie. The guy looking like he's faling with that trench coat is the Tad Channing storyline where he falls to his death in some cement after bein hit in the head by Denice Darcy back in 1986. And the bay window scene deals with Darryl Crawford and Frannie Hughes come face to face with his wife Carolyn murderer, his own security guard George Jessup in the attic
There is definitely one classic, but sad moment in this vid too. It's where Casey Peretti, Katie's father, is in a hospital bed dying of extreme illness. Being a doctor himself, he knew he was going to die. He couldn't move and was to weak to even breathe under his own power. He asked his step-daughter Margo to pull the plug on his respirator and put him out of his misery. You can tell that she didn't want to do it, but did it for him. Margo honored his memory by naming her 2nd son after him.
I know there a few more things in that vid. You see Angel Snyder with her father, Henry Lange putting his hand on her cheek and you can tell she's uncomfortable because he sexually abused her and even got her pregnant...gross! But she aborted the baby. There's Betsy's classic wedding to Steve! No one forgot that wedding! Looks like they got uninvited company too! lol.
It was the same actor and he creeps me out to this day!! Regardless, that was a great, tragic, riveting storyline and one that I rarely ever hear mentioned. No clips on YouTube either, as far as I can tell.
He was. Also, he played Mr. Trask in Scent Of A Woman, he played Mr. Greenleaf in The Talented Mr. Ripley, and he tried to "straighten" out Dennis Quaid's character in Far From Heaven which also starred a former actress from ATWT Julianne Moore who played sisters/cousins Frannie Hughes & Sabrina Fullerton.
Also near the end of the clip, is Barbara in one of her 18th century flashbacks (forgetting the name of her 18th century character) running from James' 18th century character to hug the blonde Gunnar's 18th century character (this was a past life storyline back in 1982 - early 1983, where a lot of people thought Barbara was going really crazy -- probably the first of many).
I have 2 questions about this montage. Who are the 2 people that are having a pillow fight with the feathers going everywhere? Also Barbara wearing a wedding dress hugging someone and James is watching, is that Hal that Barbara is hugging? I can't make his face out very good.
The pillow fight was between Mark Kasnoff and Connor (before the recast). The Barbara clip looked like a dream sequence and I think she was hugging Gunnar, though it was before my time so I'm sure that's him.
I figured it was Gunnar or Hal. I guess it's Gunnar, Dusty's biological father. He and James were switched at birth, which means Dusty is the true Stenbeck heir not Paul. Unfortunately the truth never came out. Although there is a possiblity that James and Gunnar were cousins, but it was never confirmed.
I thought the truth did come out. The 40th anniversary book has it written did. I thought it came out sort of curtesy of Karen Haines, who bribed James to marry her because she heard a tape of John's where he was blackmailing James with the birth certificates. Later James tried to kill Gunnar and Barbara (separately, but it backfired on him), and James nearly lost everything, and this is the reason why Dusty is so well off.
I wonder what's going to happen now. Now that Dusty's dead, there is no heir to the Stenbeck fortune. But then again there is Johnny. But if it's not offical with Johnny, James has nothing to worry about anymore.
Barbara was going to marry Tom Hughes but at the last moment cancelled the ceremony. That would be one of the many Tom Hughes that Barbara was hugging.
Can anyone tell me who those two couple kissing at 2:45?
