  • Does this come on tv in us? what channel?

  • r u jack? oh yeah i loved the people watchers but the series finished tody:( had to record the whole series because it was on when i was at school:( but i loved it though and the guy who does the prediction is a people watcher to!

  • I only became aware of this series from Feb 11th onwards, so therefore will miss half of the programmes. Is it possible to put them up on youtube?

  • you're an idiot. they are BOTH far better girls than you could ever hope to get...

  • Bigbywolf9 - where do you get off talking about Emma like that? she's a person you know mate.

  • don, swaer its not nice

  • my mum fancys jack...

  • Whats your problem?

  • im pregnant.

  • And sometimes youtubers can be cruel indeed.

  • "Certain Sorrow" is my screen name... this is funny stuff...

    Hi, Lady Justine..

  • If you were rolling around in agony where I come from in Liverpool, you'd get robbed!! haha

    We're alright really.

  • I've got one of the presenters books as well. I really enjoyed it!

  • I like the one where they were lying on the floor and no one was helping them. You english people are so rude! I'm living in London at the moment and it's so true. Is it true of all the other places in England?

    The girls are cute!

  • The Bystander Effect is an international phenomenon. In Brooklyn, NY 1964, a woman called Kitty Genovese was stabbed repeatedly over a period of 40 minutes whilst about 12 people watched from neighbouring appartments. No one called the police, as everyone thought someone else would, and Kitty was killed as a result.

  • Very interesting show, but it's not very scientific! They make dodgy assumptions e.g. that avoiding ladders is superstitious (not simply to avoid getting stuff dropped on you). They also 'lead the witness' e.g. in the goldfish experiment. It's 'candid camera' dressed up as (bad) psychology.

  • i don't like being told who to like or why I should accept their shortcomings. It's my licence fee. I'll like who I like, thank you very much.

Is 'grow up' your best insult?!

  • I want to know why you feel you need to attack me just because I've got an opinion that's different from yours.

Aren't I allowed to have an opinion? Are you one of those people that thinks all kids have their own special talents and they should all be rewarded equally? Some people are better at stuff than others. Some people shine where others don't. I don't feel the need to say everything is fantastic when it's not.

  • Get you with your skills.

Now I'm a person who comes on here to wind you up... that's my role.

I was just a viewer until you turned me into your nemesis, determined to haunt you down and prove you wrong about Jack and Emma.

What have you got against these two anyway?!

  • Hey, I have nothing against these two! I just felt your first post was slightly unfair. Working in a trio for first time on a low-budget but enduring program like that is pretty challenging, I think they all deserve equal credit, and I dont see Sara as smug at all, I think there is more to the story (such as something going on between Emma and Jack). So are you a friend of Emmas, or Emma herself? I can't imagine why someone would sign up to youtube just to assert that she should be Queen...

  • Get over yourself. I'm allowed to have an opinion on people. I watched I am Legend last night and I love Will Smith. I don't like Keira Knightley. I can't stand her. She's so wooden. I'd rather die than see something with her in it. It's called personal preference. I don't like Will Smith because I know him you arse. I like him because he's good.

You talk out of your arse.

  • I don't like Kate Beckinsale either. I don't like plastic women.

  • That Sara's hardly on anyway

  • You come on here saying everyone in a show should be king and queen except one, which is fine to do, equally I am allowed to point out I think your comment is unfair. So you then become ill-mannered and hostile, irrationally arguing about Will Smith? Are you nine years old or what?

  • er no. I dont like Wiseman either

And I'm saying I don't have to like everyone. I like people with charisma and presence.

  • Emma should be queen and Dr Jack should be king!

  • Emma Kenny Rules! I love her! She's a genius. Dr Jack and Emma K are the stars of this show!!

  • Why have you missed out Sara? If there are any stars, then they all deserve equal credit.

  • Which one is she? The girl with the curly hair? She's just a bit smug that's all. She sits there in the show looking all smug.

  • I saw it the other way. Saras the only one who doesn't seem out to prove herself by overacting every syllable of the script. Its a shame they werent allowed to inject more of themselves into the show.

  • She's expressionless, smug and so self-satisfied....

Emma's funny and Dr Jack is as well - they're not afraid to look stupid.

But I'm just a viewer. WTF would I know?!

That presenter's the worst though. I feel like I'm watching an OU video.

  • I think shes just uncomfortable with the dull format of the show and being played as a puppet, it isn't smugness. And on the contrary - I doubt very much you are just a viewer...

  • Yeah, I'm Dr Jack in disguise. Get me. I'm a genius of internet disguise.

  • Thanks! I've added this to my blog, we'll be looking forward to seeing this in Australia! :D

    podblack dot com!

  • I find Wearerabbits response interesting, and assume that he must have worked for Objective in the past. If he thinks the company is so "awesome" then perhaps a public forum is not the best place to express detrimental opinions about the company's work. I'm sure the production team who made this programme are well aware of the points he raised, and that there are valid reasons for the show being as it is. That's what producers and Exectutive producers are for. I assume Wearerabbit is neither.

  • I think Objective are great, however I find this series bloated and flawed and a public forum is fine to express that. My review is hardly detrimental. Your first assumption is wrong, your second correct, although I sense you are somehow personally invested in the show. Dont get me wrong, its a good show, just could have been much, much better.

  • I've been looking forward to this for a while, having watched it change from 'Mind Masters' to People Watchers and had its air date put back from last year. Objective Productions are awesome - totally synchronised with what I find interesting. Can't wait!

  • Found the program a little disappointing - followed the format of Real Hustle too closely and wasted lots of time with overlong intros, summaries and repetition. I also didnt understand why they needed 'psychologists' and a neuroscientist - they don't contribute any of their own knowledge, explanations or ideas at all. It would have been far more effective to also show examples from other footage eg news, politics, older studies. I can see why this ended up on daytime rather than evening.
