I have been living in Costa Rica these last few months and it is so funny when people ask where I am from and I say I am from New York and they all say "But there are no waves in New York" or my other favorite is "It is too cold to surf in New York." I usually tell them it isn't cold until about January 30th when the water finally dips below 40 :-) :-)
