  • Thank you! We are lucky in Australia to receive funding every year for our high functioning autistic boy and he just received an ipad2. Thank you for this great clip. XXX

  • Hi, no problem, you can use it. Good luck with your funding!

  • I love this video. I'm trying to get funding for an iPad for my son, do you mind if I include this video in my presentation for funding? Its so helpful!! Let me know - sharris1015@yahoo.com

  • Thank you for making this video. I am autistic myself, and I did not have stuff like this when I was younger, and I kind of wish I did. It's good to know that future autistic kids will have iPads to help them. Good for you :)

  • I 'stumbled' upon your video today because I heard this news: "Local man creates app for autistic sons' - and wanted an 'ad free' version of it. I found one at WVEC News (Alas, not possible to put in direct links in Posts)

I don't know how this compares to your other programs but maybe it's good. Keep up the good work and parenting...it isn't always easy but certainly one of the best things we do in this world and deserve far more attention than all the wars and hate we keep hearing.

  • Wow! Thanks.... my son's dad bought him an ipad for Christmas and I was overwhelmed by the cost of the programs he'd sent me a list of.... your list suits my son's needs VERY well and it's way cheaper!! Thanks!

  • My autistic child loves to sketch so I let him do what he loves by sketching on the iPad. The app I bought is called Ghostwriter Notes app, I bought this app at majorspot[dot]com. Eventually, I can see a big development of my son's creative side.

  • Nice video

  • thank you so much because this helps me alot about getting an ipad for my 8 year old daughter with autism....thank you again

  • My brother has Autism and I'm an iPhone developer so I made an app that allowed me to make small, informative guides to teach him how to do useful things. The application is called MakeSense, you can try it for free on the app-store (designed for iPhone/iTouch) for free! I understand the spectrum is quite complex and this may not be helpful for everyone, but if it helps anyone, it was worth the development time! Demo on my channel along with direct links to the app!

  • @MakeSenseApp Great app!

  • Warm smile from me :-)

  • This is awesome! My small start-up company just created an iPad case that would be great for autistic kids. It has a home button cover, keeping them locked in the educational app they are in. It is also durable and BPA free. Take a look at trtlbot.com

  • Very cool

  • Thank You for your wonderful Video. I have a toddler who was diagnosed as being Autistic, which I am just about to get an IPad for. She really does need one, I have been wanting to get her an IPad, and I will in a couple of days be getting her one. Actully, an iPad 2. --- I am so happy that I have found your video. Thank You so much for making it. ----- I am an Aspie myself, I wish they had things like these back in my day.

  • @ValosiaOmega your toddler will love it. thank you for your lovely comment.

  • Very Inspirational! I am very hopeful that this will bring lots of good to many kids. Love you Ryan xxxxx

  • @drdebralawson Thank you so much!

  • cool

  • The song is one I found here on You tube and recorded. I can't remember or find it yet, I will keep looking and let you know:) Tracy

  • @neiltracy7 This song is actually the ending theme of a japanese anime called Mobile Suit Gundam Seed. Though I can't remember if it's from Gundam Seed or Gundam Seed Destiny.

  • @haxerx123 Thank you, it was driving me crazy not remembering the song;0

  • Beautiful - thanks for sharing - we are about to order one!

Can I ask what music you used for the background? It's beautiful xo

  • are you a fan of gundam seed destiny? the back ground song sounds like one of the ending themes, kimi wa boku ni niteru

  • Great video, beautifully presented, thank you. Your son will do well I'm sure. Good luck!!

  • What song is this? It's beautiful

  • check out the app...."Answers:YesNo"...Simple and gives a voice and a choice to assist in communication and connection. Simple large Green and Red touch squares.. can be customized.. created for an autistic child...

  • The people with numbers in their eyes...look kind of satanic.

  • This really touched my heart and gave me that inch of hope I need because communication is difficult with my 4-yr old son with autism. My 9-yr old son with autism may also benefit from this. I now know I have to find a way to get at least one for my home. Thank you so much for sharing and spreading hope.

  • Great video from the beginning at least. For me it was very difficult to watch anywhere after he came into the video. I'm not sure if he was chewing gum or something but it really bothered me and I couldn't watch the rest! That's a huge sensory for me. I wish there was an app to help my ears!

  • @jaydy11 its called volume

  • Respond to this video... its called volume

  • Thank you for posting this video. Could you please list the names of the games featured here? I could not pick up all the names from your video. Also, could you post more videos as you discover more apps like these for kids with autism or asperger's syndrome? I love your selection.

  • Extremely well done and helpful. Thank you so much for posting this video.

  • Total Turret is now out for the iPad!!!! Check it out!!!

  • Thanks so much for sharing! Extremely well done. Looking forward to trying out the apps. I will definitely add this list to my website.

  • The last app was funny

  • Awesome Mom! Good job in exploring ways to help communicate and relate with your son! Our daughter has recently been given a diagnosis of Aspburgers. She is only 5. She loves our iPod touches. We have been considering an iPad. I think this will seal the deal for us.

  • Okay, you helped me make my mind up... I will definitely be buying an iPad for the holidays for my 5 year old son (with high functioning autism).

  • Thanks sooo much for sharing!!

  • What a wonderfully made video. The picture at :32 is priceless. I am the father of a 3 year old with Autism and we're considering an ipad for him. Thanks for sharing it with all of us.

  • My five year old son is on the high end of the spectrum. This iPad was one of the greatest gifts we could have bought for him. It helps increase his interaction with others. It helps calm him down when he has sensory issues. I DEFINITELY want to get this for him. This is amazing. Modeling behavior and feelings has become the most important strategy yet.

  • Thanks for posting this. My five year old autistic son loves the cat app also. I'm going to be checking out some of the others you showed. Thanks again for taking the time to put this together!
