great!!!i've come to realize that shizuru and natsuki's materialization moves have this kind of similarity,.

from flipping their hairs(im so pathetic,like they have to flip their hair of course for us to see their hidden earring gems,but whatever) to the way their hands moves(thou its reverse,shizuru's hand is like from up to down while natsuki is down to up)and thou shizuru's moves is kind of butch while natsuki is feminine...^____^

There is a second season of Mai Hime coming up in Manga novel version called Mai Hime Destiny (not to be mistaken with the Artbook of the same name), it's published in Hobby Japan's monthly magazine, Novel Japan.

I totally cross my fingers that it will come out in anime version (Mai-HiME Destiny: Ryuu no Fujo - Mai- HiME Destiny: Priestess of the Dragon-) and the icing on the cake would be that Yuki Kajiura would be fated to compose the soundtrack of it. (it is so good to be full of hope).

Actually it's not as second season of Mai HiME, it's an other 'alternate universe' thing, except it takes place in present day Japan but in Hokkaido, and the 'special girls' are not HiME or Otome, but MiKO.

5 chapters are already out and 4 of them have been translated to english ^^

But I really do hope they make an anime, I like the 'hime' side of the HiME franchise better than the Otome.
