I agree those 240s are not a very popular body chassis with the tuning crowd but people still mod them. For Volvo I'd go for more of a P1800 or 1800S model and mount a straight six or four cyl turbo. If you like a box style chassis then go with a BMW E30.

@keyofdavid888 A 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 lays down around 370rwhp. Just because a brochure says a car makes 'x' amount of horsepower doesn't mean it will put that much horsepower to the ground. You have to factor in the loss of power through the drivetrain (transmission, flywheel, driveshaft, etc.)

I used to be a parts manager at a volvo dealer, ive seen a lot of odd volvos come through, the ones I remember best were a 67 122s that was immaculate, a 75 164 that was showroom fresh, the owner;'s 58 544 that was v8 powered, and my personal fav. an 86 245 diesel with a v8 conversion. This guy had left is stock down to the wheels and diesel emblems. I still would like to see someone take a 145 and put a 160 front clip on it, and make a 165.

@golfraggarn i just doubt it is, my cousin have a 242 turbo which has 412bhp, and it takes a burnout much easier than this one + this one is to "lazy" to have 400bhp, it would increase the RPM much faster... But it could be 400bhp altho i doubt it is...
